That is a great looking setup Joseph. With your den purging, it is nice that you kept 180 and Parker.

Keith's rules should be a MASTER STICKY for open edge rookies.

What are you're thoughts on the Neutrogena? I can't remember using it or where the 2nd tube ever went .

    Thanks Jim!

    I settled in on:
    Feather for DE
    GSB for half DE shavettes
    Schick proline for injectors

I'd like to get to one Artist Club blade

I've purchased 3 blades in 100s Personna Blue was the only one I didn't test first.

Not far behind ya in age brother, but let's not go racing off to Glory just yet.

Thanks Clint, my disappointment in this case lasted about 14sec... Onward!

Makes sense, Keith. I’m giving it a whirl (my version) tonight once I get some “me time”
Glad you weighed-in Joe! I appreciate the support and your feedback makes a lot of sense. Thank you.
Gotcha ;) Joseph! Thanks for the tips.
Good call, Bill. This move is still awkward for me; though I do employ the “tongue in cheek” in several other ways!:p
Tim, it’s great to be on a similar journey with you. Your posts are so much fun- I always look forward to your recaps and commentary.
Aha! Thanks Terry! I’m all-in on this journey and look forward to enjoying some eventual and consistent success.
    Thank you Jim.

    March Madness/Shavettes

    March 1

Razor - Gillette New SC Deluxe/CJB Greager
    Blade - voskhod-teflon-coated.jpg (3) artist-club-small-professional-blades.jpg
    Soap - Stirling Ozark Mountain/Arko
    Brush - 30DC Meet UP w/ TGN Badger/VDH Boar
    Post - Alum

And away we go! Well, away I go anyway. Lots of you already got gone. If you know what I mean. It's March and that means Shavettes and other madness. I still have a shave left on the New SC Deluxe so I'm using it tonight, but in the spirit of jumping in with a shavette I did my head shave with the CJB pain stick. I had two weeks growth which is when I normally use a painy on my head, so it fit well. Voskhod in the Gillette, Feather Pro in the CJB. Ozark Mountain from Stirling on my face, Arko (to get ready for April) on my head. 30DC Meet up brush w/badger for my face, VDH boar for the head shave.

Head shave first and it was a dandy. Once I get the angle set it is smooth sailing for this shave. The pain stick does such a good job of instant reduction and leaves everything super smooth. Arko is plenty slick and cushy for the job so nor worries, cuts, or blood. Even did some XTG work to get things nice and smooth. The Feather Pro blade is not fresh in this razor but it worked well and I discarded after the shave. I'm guessing it has at least half a dozen head shaves and a few face shaves on it. So time to insert a new one next time I use it this month.

Face shave was luxurious as always. Ozark Mountain is a fabulous scent and the SC and Voskhod were perfect together as always. Great BBS finish from the top of my head to the top of my shoulders! Great way to start the month. Have a great Monday!!

As I have said before, I have never had an issue with my chin or upper lip. Never. Grow a goatee. Solves that problem. Guaranteed.

I hear you Bill, but it's prudent that our DE blade inventory is not humongous like some of the other 30DC members.
