Thread hijack.

I found an old Ford Model T piston and connecting rod over a dad's shop last night. I just thought this was interesting so I bead blasted it up a little.

4 cylinder engine @ 20 horsepower. 4.5 to one compression ratio. Ford built 15,000,000 Model Ts from 1908 to 1927 only to be surpassed by the Volkswagen Beetle in 1972.

I remember finding this piston and rod with dad about 25 years ago at old house place.

Babbitt bearings baby.

Now back to shaving.

 

I hate to get piston!
