Thank you, Jeff. I'll have the same tomorrow-then plan on making a "mad dash" through my fall/winter soaps before it gets warm and, especially, humid. Of course I won't FINISH any of them by then, but the more I can work with now, the better prepared they will be come late fall.
Sir Hare Co.already wants a review from me of their Alfa soap(Tobacco&Sandalwood). I'll be using it this week-end...will get it to them.
Great pic and report, Danny! Is that the RazoRock 400 brush? I shaved with mine this morning! Really like it!
March 4 SOTD: Razor: Tom White Alumi-TAR Blade: Gillette Nacet Brush: PAA Starcraft Lather: Mystic Waters Coconut Lime Verbena Aftershave: Chatillon Lux Unconditional Surrender Additional Care: Unrefined Shea Butter Shave two with the Alumi-TAR; this time I dialed it up to 3. It was a noticeable step up in aggression with more blade feel. Much like yesterday, it was easy to dial in the angle, and two passes gave me a DFS+ level of shave. Again, I didn't have any irritation, so it was a very successful shave. I definitely like this razor and will be said to have to send it in to the next tester.
Just stopping in to say hello. Way to many posts to try and keep up with right now. Been busy with finding a new job, and a sick kiddo, but I'm still around. Looking good this month! Can't believe how "crazy" some of y'all are! Hope everyone has great shaves this month!
Wasn't it Henry Ford who said they can have flames any color they want as long as it is black. @wristwatchb
