The view is gorgeous. When are you going to break out the Imperial soap? I am looking forward to your thoughts.

 

My shave this morning had its good and bad parts. Same products as yesterday, but I had a Stoylin brush this time, making it an "All-Stoylin Shave". I had a cut right at the first pass, which annoys me as I must look at it for the rest of the shave(I'm sure I speak for others on this too). No issues otherwise. I'm getting the handle on a good habit of slapping the aftershave onto my face, but I drag my hand across the neck. I need to do the slapping everywhere. Like my main man Jack Palance did to his Skin-Bracer on that famous commercial of his. ("Confidence is very sexahhhh......don't you think?". ). I failed once again at doing a "Throwback" shave this week, therefore I'll do a "Throwback WEEK" starting Sunday. Have a nice day, everyone .

I’ll shave with it tomorrow. SWMBO gave strong thumbs down to the PannaCrema soap. Much too smelly for her. Guess I can only use it when she’s not around. The Imperial doesn’t seem to have a strong smell. If it holds a good lather and feels good afterwards, I’ll be a believer.

4th day of the New focus and next up is the New LC, which did get a day or two in a Favourites February after returning from Evan’s beauty salon. I didn’t wipe it well enough before the pic- it is in perfect condition.
Loaded up a fresh GSB, whipped up a really nice lather and had 3 easy passes. This shaver really is the definition of a daily driver for me. Just short of perfect for smoothness. Tried something a little different afterwards this morning based on the recommendation of @Norcalnewb and put a lather of PAA on my face as I cleaned up. Felt fine, maybe I’ll try it again sometime.

Is this a type of leather(Imperial)?

 

It's always on my mind, but with past regular razors, I struggled with proper angling techniques.

 

Great shave report, Jason! That New LC looks great! I routinely wash with my shave soap after each shave, and leave it on while I clean my razor and clean up the den and rinse afterwards. MWF feels great and so does the PannaCrema. Unfortunately, SWMBO gave it the thumbs down. So it’s back to MWF after giving Imperial soap a swing.
