  1. It wasn't bad at all. A little styptic and it was all taken care of.
  2. Nice work Evan. If I start feeling skin irritation I lay off the shavette or razor for a day to rest the skin a bit!
  3. Yep, I think April will be one of those. Maybe I'll do them both at the same time. :)

It's a problem caused by the generosity of the people in this group. I guess it's a problem I'll learn to live with. ;)

    The shave...
...was result driven. It didn’t start that way. 1st pass, WTG, worked like it was supposed to: nice focus on technique, but finished rougher than usual. I guess that’s where things broke down. I don't like things rough.

2nd pass, XTG/ATG started okay, but devolved into something more like a dog chewing away at a spot that itches. Buff, buff, buff. Scrape, scrape, scrape. Worry, worry, worry. It was a DFS (except for the chin, that cursed destroyer of cotton balls), mostly irritation free, and no blood that I can recall, but the shave itself was just a mindless free-for-all. Didn’t learn much. Tomorrow--focus!

Happy day-before-Friday! I'll catch up with you all later in the afternoon :D

    5 down, 95 to go…
  5. Thank you Jim. I never gave color coordination a thought and now I do. I’m buying more neutral brushes. At least that’s what I’m telling my wife.

  6. Thanks Danny! I'm enjoying making them and anticipate giving (or trading for those more comfortable with that) a lot of brushes in the near future. I think I've said it before, If I don't give them away they clutter my shop. You're on the list for sure. :)
  7. Sorry about the rough shave Joe. Good luck at work.

  8. No blood and mostly irritation free is a win in my book. Here's to shave #6.
  9. Thank you Jim.

  10. Great shave Clint! I love that brush more so than my C-Mon butterscotch and cream brush that I wish I had a razor with sky blue scales.
  11. OK, thanks Jeff.

  20. Thanks Jim! A 0.40% failure rate is nothing to sneeze at in my opinion.
