    The weekend! Even though we lose an hour’s sleep on Sunday it’s still a glorious thing! Going old school Cella for the mid-week shave had me thinking about old school scents and so today’s soap of the day is TOBS Sandalwood. Nothing hits me as old school quite as much as this one. Love it!

    I have been pining for the General and so succumbed to the temptation though the Timeless OC .95 SS was on deck. The Sunday shave will belong to that scalloped and polished beauty.

    Thoroughly enjoyable three pass BBS shave. Topped it off with some Blackstone Sandalwood balm and Guerlain Santal Royal.

    Well let’s get through the day, snow and hopefully, safe home to those you hold dear. Happy Friday all!

    SOTD, Thur Mar 6th 2020

    Razor : Oneblade Core, version #2 - MFG 2018>
    Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE Modified (2)
    Soap : Razorock Lavender- I really enjoy this soap for scent and lather qualities+ post shave feel.
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft 24 mm synthetic
    Pre-shave : Brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on beard area.
    Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
    Post shave : Pinaud Clubman with witch hazel + Nivea balm.
    Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + minor irritation + no weepers= [​IMG]excellent shave & in my sweet spot for desired shave finish!

    Great shave! I’ve seen the Blackstone products on sale at Marshall’s and TJ Maxx. I’ve been tempted to get some.

    I have the balm and the 3-1 shower stuff. They make a cedar version also! Good stuff and affordable.
