It took that much? I thought we were all enabled by having some cash on hand or pictures...or maybe shinny things.
Just super-surprised no one has said, "Clubman decant? More like Clubman I-can't!" Oh, I forgot... Jason is showing restraint. Kudos to you, sir
I always kept my hair clipped close to me head as my Father was constantly on my rear during my long hair days. So I surprised him when I started getting military style brush cuts. Unbeknownst to me.... I would like the feel of short hair and was nice for welding as short hair didnt catch fire. One night I decided to just take all the hair off and never looked back. As for the shavette today, the front half was easy but I stopped there and finished with an injector on the back. Next shave I will attempt 100% shavette after getting advised by Joe @Trigger how to proceed further.
Thanks Bill! I too cannot get the side stroke in that area either and on both side of the Adams apple I have the multi directional growth pattern going on. It can be frustrating but I'm going to try 3 passes next time for hair reduction and take what I get for results . I do the n to s then s to n mention now but always end up buffing a bit .
Rockin the bald look is fantastic! Just one more thing that I may have not made clear about shaving the back of the head, Patrick. I said to put your finger from your off hand at the top of your back of head and then place toe of shavette next to it. Keep the finger there as you go down with the blade. When you hit the bottom of the nape, then move your finger over for the next colum of shaving and then place the toe next to finger and go through the same process until you finish one pass. Remember to keep your chin to your chest at all times while shaving the back. Use the same technique for XTG and ATG if and when you are confident enough. You will have very few misses. At that point clean those small areas with a safety or the shavette.
Definitely! The skin on the head is not as pliable as the cheek, but you still have to stretch it. The head has many curves and that's why you need to be careful and use short strokes. Also, a shaved head with cuts doesn't look so nice. I have been there and done that even with a safety razor. I would only do one pass wtg until you know every bit of the landscape of your dome and finish with safety. Actually, it's doing the same routine as when you first face-shaved with a shavette. Slow and definitely steady hands win the race!
