    That's a good question Myles!
There is a list the CDC put out.
    Might check that.
I got some stuff from china a week or so ago.
I sprayed the mailbox with 90% alcohol, used rubber gloves.
Dunked the whole pakage in the same alcohol, opened it in there and then let it soak 10 minutes.
Not that I'm afraid, but I normally open up foreign packages with caution.
Razor's, heads and handels aren't bothered by alcohol.
    Good luck!

Rio Grande sells a number of commercial solutions that make it easy. As far as DIY solutions go I will start a new thread with my current processes. Right now, a plating batch goes through 5 different solutions 4 I mix myself using 8 total ingredients.

I try to stick with chemicals that are okay to dump down the drain. Several are also used as commercial drain cleaners. I'm pretty sure my pipes are clean.

You are welcome, Jeff! Use the Noxema as a preshave and leave it on your face when you lather in the Imperial soap.

Another stunning razor, Gary. Those New Deluxes are fine shavers, in addition to looking great. I’ve enjoyed your Focus so far. A lot of super cool razors for sure.

Love the look of all your hardware today, Jeff. The razor sounds fantastic and we’re all super jealous you got the labelled 007!

This stuff is pretty fine. I would love to end the year with only triple-milled soaps and croaps. I have 4 tubs of Eufros, so who am I kidding?

    A Free-Shave
Woke up feeling a bit queasy this morning, and my body was fighting over which front to expel the invading hordes--north or south (south eventually won). Last night I was debating over whether or not to do free shaves on Sunday, or just stick with the Focus Rule until I logged my 100 shaves. But I could hear Keith @Keithmax saying, "If you feel like you might throw up, put the razor down!" So I took it as an omen... I rest from the Focus Rule after the 7th day ;)

    Gear

    • Razor: Razorock Lupo (aluminum)--Pulled this wonderful little shaver out of Andrew's @Linuxguile box of goodies, and couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised (a) to receive it, and (b) for how easy it is to shave with this light, aluminum razor. On the mild to moderate side of aggressiveness, and smooth! For me it's comparable to shaving with the Flare Tip... an absolute joy to work with.
    • Blade: Personna Blue (1)
    • Brush: Stirling Kong
    • Soap: Stirling Glastonbury--I polished off my Stirling Sandpiper and was going to purchase more soap when I discovered that the puck of Glastonbury I gave my 2nd oldest son has been sitting unused in his drawer. He got Tea Tree for Christmas (which has a very medicinal smell to it), and the look he gave me when he first took a whiff of it made me feel guilty, so I pulled one of those "Oh, wait! I forgot your other soap," things and gave him my Glastonbury (ultimate sacrifice). Turns out, he really likes the scent of the Tee Tree soap now, and the Glastonbury... not so much. As in 'not at all.' Sweet! I get my soap back :D
    • AS: Aqua Velva Ice Blue
    • Balm: Stirling Glacial Unscented

Oh, that razor! Looking super-sleek in black :D

    The Shave...
Honestly, even if I was feeling in perfect health, I probably would have skipped the shave today. I shaved in the afternoon yesterday, and was still pretty smooth. But, I wanted to take the Lupo out for a run, so I went for a 2 pass, chin-touch up shave.

1st pass XTG, and I found the sweet spot almost immediately. 2nd pass ATG, and I'm smooth everywhere but the chin. Touch ups caught that baby. A great Sunday shave.

I'll pull something else out of Andrew's box of fun next Sunday. In the meantime, hope your Sunday goes excellently well, everybody! :D

Ok this is the 5th time I have used this brush and it is officially my #1 with my C-Mon Heritage Collection Super Badger #2. The brush really gives a You-Tube lather with such ease. It creates such a thick, cushiony lather that makes me blurt out wow! I am going to church this evening so I wanted to shave my 30 hr stubble. I am socially acceptable without shaving, but I want to look neat for church. Two passes gave me a drama free IBSS++/VBBS shave. I decided to use witchhazel to try to get the irritation tk disappear from my disastrous shave that occurred 2 shaves prior to this one. I really did a number on my left cheek. Splashed the matching aftershave and applied the Nivea for an almost epic shave. Have great afternoon guys! 20200308_163559.jpg 20200308_163559.jpg

    Thanks Evan.
    That would be helpful.
I try to keep the chemicals to a bare minimum.
When I got a divorce decades ago.
The Ex tossed some of my stashed chemicals away, just threw them in the trash, before I could move them.
How she or whoever trashed them lived, I have no Ideal.
I used them to etch glass, copper etching, even some stuff that would take certin hardy bugs out with a teaspoon per gallon.
So I like to be careful with the solutions and compounds nowadays.
