Jason, sorry to hear about the employee issues.

Jen, take care and heal up. Was the other driver properly insured?

Well its Saturday morning, daughter got up early and is already badgering me about things. ugh... I wish I hadn't up until 2 AM finishing a book. I was shocked when I looked at the time. Oh well... Gotta clean the apartment before family comes tomorrow.

    yeah, no kidding whoa!
    A) this thread is epic

    B) you're the second person (that I've noticed) that has posted today for the first time in 2 years (Cat being the other)

    whoa indeed

Amish rocks, I've thought many a times about becoming Amish - life would be much simpler, methinks....as long as I get to keep my Zune, and login to TSD regularly

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
nope, not told them yet, just now getting back on...but I was going to

    Hey all.

Sorry about your accident Jen :(

Wife took me out to the only place in town that sells marine fish and we started re populating my reef tank again. I'm going slow since I'm not sure how stable the tank is right now. So we only got 2 fish and a crab. It was $70 dollars for the 3 of them!! Woke up this morning and the cats had turned off the tank again. So one of my projects today is to mount all of the power strips on the fish tank stands today. At least nothing died last night.

So Jim... how is the brush breaker cat doing?

Between the two of you, I have further reasons to never have a cat.

yeah, "officially", "I" don't have a cat, but relented to allow one in the house...then the across-the-street neighbor (actual, real, physical across the street, not the allegorical 'across the street' I'll sometimes use for another website) brought one over for the kids...while I was gone...the wife decided to keep....uggghh.

both cats are still in existence, to answer your question....the one particularly in question keeps its distance from me, though I can't for the life of me figure out why...:angelic007:D

the other one will approach me for a scratch every now and then....when I have treats

Wow Jen. Sorry to hear about the wreck. 12 hours in the ER is almost never a good thing. I hope you're sleeping like a drug-laden baby right now and wake without pain.

Here's something that will either put a big smile on your face or annoy the He** out of you:

hey thanks a lot guys, I woke up feeling surprisingly good all things considering. Like no drugs in me right now I feel a lot better then I did the day after the last accident I was in (I was a passenger in that one...) I honestly don't know if the other guys were insured. I wouldn't stop crying at the scene because I knew this meant my car was gone and dad wasn't going to get me a new one. They stuck me in the ambulance before I even said one word to the other people. They were screaming and yelling and just being jerks and trying to blame me. It was so stupid, I'm glad I didn't have to stick around there long.

    And to you, Ray!

I'm glad you're not hurting too much, Jen. With a little luck, insurance will replace your car.

Only if it's declared that the accident wasn't my fault which will be rough because nobody stuck around. Either way I am looking at an 02 maxima right now

Well, that would be a decent car, Jen. I'm driving a 1990 Honda Civic right now and have a '96 GMC truck dead in the driveway (a requirement for living in this one horse town )

Cops and insurance adjusters are surprisingly good at figuring out who did what. Usually, the people doing the most bitching at an accident scene are the ones at fault. I hope it works out well for you either way.

Hey Ray, got any friends on the force in Jen's town? :D

I do not Tom. I sure wish I did so we could get this person who hurt our Jen.

I'd be so happy if I get the 02 maxima, I haven't seen it yet but I trust this guy when he says it's in good shape. Of course my dad would have to give it a once over before anything happens but we'll see.

    Also thanks Ray :o

here is my poor little car :(

    Wow, very glad you're okay.

You know, I miss the crazy old feller a lot, but it's probably best Rolls never saw this...no telling what he'd do - well, he's probably buy Jen a new car, but I'd be more concerned about the ones in the other car, might play "giant hamster" with them I guess
