I could sip Kentucky Bourbon all night into the next day. No water, no ice, just pour me a waterglass full and I'd be fine, for a, couple hours. Oh here, a waterglass holds about 4 oz. No more... Blood thinners tp
I'm not a huge fan of venison, but I eat a lot of pork rinds and crawfish I eat whenever I get the chance. I guess that means I should hang out with Joe instead of Charlie so I don't have to share.
That's a hard corner, driver! Normally 60 is all you're allowed to streatch. I could tell you were a tough guy. No sleeper, just run till your done. Hug the shifter if you want to sleep laying down. I suspect no air ride either. You have my respect! tp
Thank you gentlemen, I’m glad to have some time to relax. I would have loved to have more time to spend there. The food was amazing, and the scenery was beautiful. I would highly recommend visiting the area, I might try to get mrs 76 to take a trip there for a vacation this summer. But I think I would take the northern route to avoid nyc, I’ve been there a few times now and I’m fairly certain she would want to hurt me before we made it through. And now time to get ready to leave for all over Iowa this next week.
March Madness/Shavettes March 8 Razor - RazoRock Wunderbar Blade - (3) Soap - Oleo Soapworks El Caballero Brush - 30DC Meet UP brush w/ TGN Grade A Silvertip Post - Alum Well, so much for another weekend. Hope yours was fantastic. I had a good day today. Temps in the low 70's and I do believe Spring is trying to show up. Finished off with another fine shave with the Wunderbar and Rapira PL. I used the 30DC Meet up with Silvertip to work up a great lather with the El Caballero and to help bring it down a notch as I work to wipe it out. No issues with the lather or the shave and the finish was perfection. Now to enjoy the rest of a Sunday evening before hitting a couple of meetings tomorrow. Have a great Monday and an even better week!
It does have air ride, thankfully. The drive was split between two days. With a few break times. Dot doesn’t let us go that long anymore unless we are doing emergency utility work. Even then I still wont go for that long unless there’s no other options.
Thanks Patrick! I also have 149 traditional straight razor shaves. So I am closing in on my 300th straight shaves. For my 150th shavette and 150th straight razor shaves, I am going to use my Dovo shavette with a new blade and my very first straight razor, the Dovo Special. This major milestone should occur by this weekend.
Thanks Danny! I don't want to say what I paid for this brush because I want to be fair to Jim. I will say that you would be hard pressed to get this quality brush for the price I paid. Granted, it is a Whipped Dog Silvertip knot and the handle is made out of Brazilian Rosewood, but you can't put a price on the workmanship of this brush. I know that I didn't mention it, but the handle is as long as my hand and I can also wrap my hand around it for a secure feel. This makes face lathering a breeze.
I can't even imagine It's got to be said: you travel in style, Paul. That's a wonderful set up you've got there, and Stirling Gentleman is the bees knees
We shouldn't fear death. On a long enough time line the survival rate of everyone drops to zero. Also, why time is more valuable than money.
Awesome, Keith! I've heard great things about the Enoch. I just looked at your soap--fir and leather sounds like an amazing scent profile.
Awesome gear, Keith! That Osiris looks like a cleaver--definitely get the man card renewed every time you use it
