    Thanks Tim!
I like the chill, feels nice in the shower using the bar soap too.

I really didn't think about mayhem, I just wanted to use that razor.
It looks so cool, works good too.
    If ya hadn't noticed...

Wonderful shave, Joe! Sorry to hear about the Piacenza. It's a beautifully light, citrusy scent, so can easily see it fading after a while. I love that Shake Sharp! :D

You could get rid of the rest of them quickly if you have to of course, by auctioning them on ebay.

They don't seem to have as many side effects, thats nice.
I really don't have to many issues with bleeding. My blood is to thick, so they say, it's just about normal with the thinners, so they say.
I have the styptic stuff around like everyone else.

Did you refinish that brush yourself, Evan? Just a classic shape and design. Awesome .

Interesting, Joe. I don’t believe I’ve ever heard anyone relate scent loss to blooming before. On the other hand, I don’t really ever bloom and don’t have any soaps that come to mind for losing scent. Just have never heard anyone put that out there before.

    The Shave...
I was going for a 3 passer, but time was getting away from me and rather than rush it, I simply stopped when time ran out--2 passes and some touch-ups on the chin. DFS over all. Little to no irritation (that’s the important part for me).

Did get careless a few times, though: 3 or 4 set-down errors. 2 of them bled, 1 needed the styptic and I should probably be mindful of the area for tomorrow’s shave. That part is a bit frustrating, cause if we’re going to be 100% honest, set-down errors really are the easiest ones to avoid. It indicates a lack of focus.

One very cool thing, though: the hollow under my jaw, midway and toward the back is getting BBS now. That was typically a difficult area for me with my DE/SE shavers. The hollow under my jaw just before my chin, on the other hand seems a bit trickier with the shavette. And the chin itself, of course, continues to be the devil's playground no matter what I shave with. Still, got better results this morning going with XTG and diagonal ATG strokes along the chin as per Andrew's @Linuxguile suggestion. Onward and upward!

Overall, very happy with the shave :D

8 down, 92 to go… (sit down, Helga!)

True. Still, there's something about piling up a bit of good karma that appeals to me :D

Interested, ever since my wife's blood clot she's been on blood thinners. Even the smallest cut bleeds like crazy.

High T causes thick blood. I don't know if that's what's causing your issue but that's what I'll conclude. You're just too much man for your own good ;)

No this brush is in the traveling box. I just have the use of it for a few days and I haven't done any work on it myself. It is a nice brush though. I've considered keeping it.
