Anyone seen the Baikal razors out of Russia? Looks like a machined Rockwell. They have several aluminum versions and a stainless steel version. I may get the aluminum version when they get some more back in stock.

I like the comment about the international razor agressiveness table.......wonder where this "table" is? Have y'all seen it?

Had a very early morning meeting this morning, and had a somewhat rushed 3 pass shave. No chance to post it until now, but things have calmed a bit. Today was the 9th day of the New focus and the 2nd with this SC. Someone mentioned @Linuxguile 's generosity and this razor is a good example. A few years ago, I mentioned how much I liked my LC and that I wanted to try a SC. A week or two later, what is waiting for me in my mailbox? This SC from Andrew. That's the way he rolls.
Everything worked as it should this morning. Not perfect results, but not very far from it.

Great shave reports and photos, my friends!

This morning was a double whammy. I woke up feeling a bit under the weather and Declan woke up with some pink in his eyes. Took him to the Dr and luckily he has viral pink eye rather than bacterial so it should clear up on it's own and soon. Keeping him home today, unfortunately that means not much rest for me. Hada shave last night though which I will post shortly. Have a great day my friends!

Great shave Jason! I had a tube of proraso red at one point in time. It was a little too much sandalwood for me, performance was great though!

Great looking combo as always, Jim. I'm almost certain by the closeup pic that those Yaqi knots are the same that APShave Co sells as SynBads. Love the 30mm version of those.

Yeesh...you've gone to extremes to get that blade secured, Terry. MAYhem has come early. I've seen the blades that fit that Wilkinson available from time to time on the 'bay. Have you checked them out?

Shaved last night with the .84 Game Changer. While I do like the feel of the open combs a little better, the safety bar version of the GC is no slouch either. Three passes for an IBBS shave. Nice mild menthol effect in the AS and no sting from the alcohol. Have a great day my friends!

Yes, I saw on the Yaqi website the ability to buy knots in bulk (over 500 I believe) and I'm sure that is what APShaveCo did. They would use other suppliers for some of their other options, I'm assuming.

 

Thanks Jim, I thought you had a Start on the way in....very nice looking razor. How long have you had it on order and when do you think it will be arriving? I cannot wait to see its appearance. The Taiga adjustable is a nice looking razor as well.
