The Shave...
Decided to stick to 2 passes today: WTG & ATG. I largely avoided buffing until I got to the chin, then kept the buffing very light--for now, I can see no way of avoiding buffing when shaving the chin. Also, I did take an extra pass at the chin, so I'm really more at 2+ passes.

The results were much better: almost no irritation and a CCS. I think if I were to have started off XTG, I might have got the same irritation free shave, but closer to the DFS side of things. That’ll be worth trying out tomorrow.

Perhaps they are looking for "father-figures" or potential dates for their single or widowed mothers. (Well, I guess that would be BOTH, right?). Most of these ladies are store employees. Sometimes when I shop, I think of that classic somg by George Burns "I Wish I.....Was Eighteen...Again". George couldn't have been singinabout me in that song, because he younger crowd DO turn their heads. Mr. Hembree is right-I did come close with an older woman who appeared to like my Clubman. A couple of sniffs and she was GONE. Never saw her again, nor have I since. Well, when I say she was older, I meant more around my age than the cashier kids(oh, all right, young adult ladies). Your "hunting in pairs" thing is interesting, as some of them appear to be talking to another person, but they look at me and smile at the same time. I can only say to myself "What was THAT about??". This is not a Piggly Wiggly but I suppose it could well be. But yes, I do get the "poked fun at" routine about this. But that is just what it is-FUN.

I haven't used this brush in awhile so I decided it needed to be activated. This brush really whipped up a nice lather. The RR Classic has a nice almond scent and it really is easy to lather from the puck because the container has plenty of room to do so. On a 32 hr stubble, I only needed 2wo passes and some neck touchups gave me an irritation free, BBS shave. I might add that there weren't any red droplets of any kind to ruin a very comfortable shave. Applied the Old Spice and there wasn't any stinging sensation whatsoever. Finished with the last drops of Nivea ASB. Face looks clean and I am smiling. Now, I am planning on doing my last shavette shave on Friday which will be #150 because I stated that I would only be with Tim, Patrick and Charlie to encourage and to be with them at the start of their 100 shavette shave journey. On the weekend, I will commemorate my 150th traditional straight razor shave and that will give me my 300 open blade shaves. Next week, in keeping with Shavette, Straight and SE March theme, I am going to do a mini focus with my newly acquired Schick Injector Razor E3. I want to improve my technique with this razor and believe I will have it done by the end of next week. That's my program for the next 10 days. Have a great evening fellas!

We have always poked fun at Paul @Paul Turner about aisle 12 at the Piggly Wiggly. You see Paul has had several if not multiple encounters with the opposite sex that we cannot deny nor confirm at a Piggly Wiggly store. The running theme of these encounters seems to be Clubman. That is why you was advised to be careful wearing the vintage Old Spice to Piggly Wiggly. You see some of the women that shop there are probably on the look out for a man and it is possible with the right kind of aftershave they may not be able to resist. You may get "taken" right there on aisle 12. Paul has come close but he may have left most of the stories out. Myles, understand that these are not women who shop at the local Victoria Secrets. They are older, lonely women, probably a little on the heavy side and still in their curlers. A young man like you would not stand a chance, especially if they are hunting in pairs.

If I left anything out please fill in the rest guys.

I survived using the DX with a sleeper angle. No irritation or blood at all. Still not as close as I would like but I do think the irritation has been more due to pressure than angle. I am figuring this thing out but I still like the straight razors better. SRs are worth the extra work if you ask me. We'll see if I still feel that way at the end of the month.
