Charlie, I am not one to minimize you and your wife's situation, but rest assured I and others are praying for you. Now, for some humor, it would be a neat trick to give the
JR #384 because it's in my den and I am not parting with it! Lol! I know you meant #394! Back to being serious, you have shown strength and courage during this time. It will be rewarded. God bless you both!

Thank you, Danny. If you think I'm a piece of work, you should meet him. :)

Be safe and be smart, Myles. This will soon pass and will eventually be a story to tell your kids.

Our public schools announced a three-week closure which begins next Monday. The last day of school is projected to be in mid-June, but the situation is very fluid. One thing that really got to me was that the schools will be operating "drive-throughs" for parents to stop by and pick up free lunches for their children. They're also sending food home with the kids tomorrow. It's hard to accept that kids won't get fed if they miss school.

Apparently I have no where to go, at all for weeks. No church, no work, no vacations, somehow I do have to keep my team productive while they work from home...while my 4 kids are home trying to attend school online.

    This is crazy!

I'm a Junior so it's not as bad as being a senior who is trying to get out of school as soon as possible. thankfully my snack selling at school money (surprise that's my small business! ) might be put to some good use for emergencies in this "pandemic" such as extra food, maybe MREs need water more than food actually.

Before my mom retired she managed the free lunch program for a school district. It broke her heart, 1) that so many kids only got decent food at school, and 2) that so many abused the program taking resources from those that actually needed it, literally taking food from children.

Thank you, Joe. I sincerely appreciate prayers and encouragement. We also try to look for some humor in the situation, so keep the smiles coming.

Could you check the number of your brush? I'm fairly certain that Jim made #384 for our doc, and either #394 or #395 will heading my way. He also made JR #310 for a buddy of mine in 2018. I couldn't resist getting one of these beauties for myself after seeing a couple of them in person.

In time, you may change your mind on sustainability. You will eventually find a unique pattern and routine that will become intuitive.
My shavette shaves are sometimes faster than other gear. Mostly on the minimal cleanup. Quick towel, small spritz of isopropyl, a little homemade compessed air, and away it goes.
I take more cleanup time on everything else.

You are doing very well for not even 2 weeks in.

Charlie, I guess the joke is on me. I have the JR # 386. Well, that's why there are erasers on pencils and reference tables for me to use. Again, those handles are gorgeous!

It breaks my heart too, Evan. I firmly believe families should be responsible and provide for their kids. Regardless, every child should have his/her basic needs met one way or the other. Your Mom sounds like an incredible gal with a big heart.
