  1. Thanks, Bill! I don't see me giving up the shavette any time soon. Even after the 100 shaves are finished. I enjoy the process too much. Insisting on BBS is not sustainable for anything I shave with right now. I have learned to enjoy the comforts of irritation-free shaves since I've joined this band of merry men (have there been non Y chromosome 30dc members?). Usually BBS means at least some irritation for me, and I'm shooting for 0 irritation shaves.

Perhaps in time I'll get the best of both worlds--stranger things have happened, no? ;)
  2. You guys are awesome--thanks! :D

  5. Fantastic photo, report, and shave, Neal! I didn't know P.a.P. was a tallow based soap. Stay dry, and keep on being awesome, sir! :D

  7. I'm pretty sure Natalia's bra is under enough strain. We may not want to test its abilty to support Natalia AND a pack of blades.

  8. Just double checking here: is the blade slanted (like shaving with a slant razor)? No big deal if it is--I kind of do that anyway--but I just want to make sure I'm reading your directions correctly. ;)

  11. My work here may be close to complete. I have others now downloading Natalia pics just in case they're needed. Yep. I'm a proud papa around here. :happy093:

  13. The muttons that I'm aware of are - Sheep, Electric Sheep, Port-au-Prince, Glastonbury, and Scot's Pine Sheep. The Scot's isn't in my den because I'm pretty sensitive to pine scents at times, and that one is one of those times. I have the rest, though. Love me the mutton tallow.
  14. Yes, it is like using a slant razor. The blade orientation is NE to SW where the NE is the toe near the ear and the SW is the heal. So it is at a 45 degree oblique. It could be at a 20 degree oblique, where the razor covers a larger width in respect to the horizontal axis. That's up to you. I think this original suggestion would be better because you can see what your doing. I believe that going in reverse from chin to ear with same blade orientation will be more difficult. Like I said, it is only a suggestion. You may find a better way to shave your neck.
  15. Super awesome, Jason! :D
  16. Since joining this group in September I have started making and collecting brushes, buying British razors, Stirling soaps, seiko watches, and downloading pictures of Natalia. I'm pretty easily influenced by the 30DC.
  17. Thanks Tim! We had a lovely visit.

    Thanks Gary!!
