    Day 11 of the NEW focus, 1st with this New Deluxe.
    Left the house quite early this morning and haven't had a chance to post until now. Had a pleasant, if somewhat rushed, 2 pass shave. Everything worked at least as well as it should and I could not have expected better results from 2 passes.

    I agree. I have the Classic and the Single X and they produce very nice lathers. However, the scent on Single X is very faint.

    Thanks, Charlie! Seems it'll be a pretty straightforward shallow angle razor. I'm anxious to switch over to the "smooth" baseplate. I find so called mild razors fun technique testers.

    Beautiful set up, Jason. The New Deluxe is a beauty. It has been a blast following your New focus. Those are some of my favorite vintage Gillettes.

    I hope all is well in your school system. Our local schools decided to pack it up for the next three weeks. I'm not sure if I'll get back to see my sweet Kindergarten kids this year. We'll see.
