I have Milano and Chessman cookies, but I'm grubbing on some chile pineapple snacks, and they are effing tasty.

 

Sharks? Though I don't find those to be very smooth. Tried them in two razors and they were not very enjoyable.

yes! you are correct...I saw those on a website a little over a year ago and have been wanting to try them, but haven't seen them for sale anywhere.

those would absolutely match my personality...watch them not work for me, though

 

I got them at Sam's for a buck and change. They're a dried pineapple covered in a spicy chili powder. They're delicious.

 

I've seen those! Was very tempted to get 'em to try, I thought they could be good...maybe that's why when you mentioned it I immediately thought that.

They're really good. You get only a hint of the chili flavor and a nice hit of spice. It's really tasty stuff.

I got them with a razor I picked up, so I can't say for sure where to pick them up. I thought shoeboxshaveshop.com carried them, but I don't see them listed. Though, they do have a nice selection of blades I haven't heard of or seen, like Tigers and Sputniks.

by the way, I know there's a couple folks at B&B who have the Sputniks as their go-to blade...I haven't tried them yet, though

I bought a batch of them when... I believe it was Paul from Connaught offering them as a special purchase.

Hey guys - I thought you'd like to hear this... I've been using the same docro DE blade all summer (may 1st - now) it's still sharp and it hasn't rusted or anything.

Not much to say... got a whole bunch of calls to make to try to set up daughter's fall appointments. School starts next week and none of these places have given me a date or time yet. With my luck she will have three therapy appointments, swim class, and Girl Scouts all on Thursdays from 4-5.

But hey, that would leave the rest of the week wide open!

I don't know how much I will participate in the music tag thread... firefox keeps coming to a halt when loading that page... May have to see if Opera can handle it better. There are times I miss the windows versions of programs; however, I have had ubuntu on my desktop for what... a year maybe and I don't miss it that much.

Speaking of a year... been wet shaving a year now...

TSD Wheat cream question: I have been trying to use a snurdle... but I never have had that much success with creams. I face lather and don't like extra bowls/mugs in my limited shelf area. So I have tried loading the snurdle into the brush breach, I have tried putting it at the bottom of the soaking mug, and have tried just smearing it on my face like a shaving stick... I got the best results from just running the brush directly on the container of cream. 2nd best from smearing it on my face and then using the brush. I guess I am too much of a soap guy and have a mental block when it comes to figuring out creams. But I really really like this cream. How much damage will I actually do to the cream running my brush on it directly? Will I go through it faster? How much faster? I suppose I ought to ask this question in the shaving cream area...

 

Folks really should read the warnings on things like that...it clearly states that it's flammable and should be kept away from fire
