My normal Walmart run is Saturday mornings before sunup. Normally the store is pretty much empty. Not this morning.

I’m sure they come here for our inexpensive pharmaceuticals, too.

Point is, far more want to come here for what we have than the reverse.

I saw about 20 men lined up, outside H.E.B. grocery store this morning, around 7am. They said they were all in line for toilet paper. Their wives sent them to wait, until the store opened at 8. Only 1 woman in line. I just thought it was funny.

No, they go to Canada, for cheap medication. Socialized healthcare limits prices of medications there.

I saw a gentleman walking through the store with an arm load (eight to ten) large containers of wipes. He looked as though he won the jackpot.

I ran into a guy, this morning, who said his brother works for a distribution center, and gets Toilet Paper for cheap(probably steals it), and they make a killing, reselling it.
So, now we have Black Market toilet paper?? This panicking is getting out of control.

Before you source the WHO for anything, it was the WHO that downplayed the Corona threat in Europe, saying it was just China's problem and so assured Europe that borders should stay open. That foolishness has since exploded in their faces...Italy, Norway, etc.

I don't believe anything the WHO or the U.N. says. If they told me my hair was on fire, I'd look in a mirror first.

The damage to our economy is severe, how much suffering and ruined lives from the economic damage has yet to be seen. So many people are not working and not making money or earning a fraction of what they were and just disaster for most small businesses.

I could have quoted anybody. Nobody thinks the US has a superior system, particularly for handling something requiring the kind of coordination and mobilization required here.
