Here's JR #395, the other brush Jim made along with mine. It has the Maggard's two-band badger fan knot.



Here's a side-by-side of JR #394 and #395. JR #394 (mine, mine, all mine!!!!) on the left has the Maggard's Super High Density 26 mm fan knot. You can definitely see the difference in the two knots.

 

Happy with my shave this morning. The Maggard brush was like a "soap magnet" to the Jeeves Bay Rum. Two strong, successful passes, no cuts. The Stephan Bay Rum A.S. gave me a nice finish, but I did sense more of the clove smell than in prior uses. I'll try shaking it more tomorrow, pre-use. Clove or no, you get that nice soft feeling post-use-like your face and neck are all part of a skating rink. I'll say Very Excellent, as I'd like to be able to smell less clove tomorrow. Maybe it's just an issue of the Stephan not getting much use. Well THAT is an easy problem to solve, as Stephan has always been a favorite of mine,.

It’s very dangerous for people over 80 or pre-existing conditions or compromised immune systems. I agree we don’t have the full statistics. I saw you other post, continue to be careful and I’m praying for your bride. I have a friend going through chemo here, no visitors allowed at the hospital.

You are correct, so make sure my fingers are dry and a liberal use of alum on my finger tips.
