No rest for the weary this morning. Maya is stopping by with 9 of her friends on the way to Tampa for Spring Break. I am still not sure about the trip but it seems that despite everything closing college students continue to take their spring break trips. Anyway, my wife has been running around getting things ready for the ladies and that means honey do lists. She let me take a shower which means the process is just about over. I broke out my new Ebony CH2 synthetic this morning. The brush works great and looks even better. After loading the brush, I did add some B&M Terrorade to cool things down a bit. Three passes and touch ups ended in a near BBS shave. I am still avoiding that spot on my chin. A splash of Agua Balsamica and I hope I can relax a little this afternoon. I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

Good to see you, Randy! The scent profile of Diamond is intriguing. I've had it in my cart a couple of times just never made the final cut. Maybe the next time it's released.

Good Saturday morning! Everyone!
After everyone scattered, I took some time.
Used my Focus shavette with a new half Feather blade.
Only on the face and 2 passes, they weren't very good passes.
The chin is better than the last time, but not by much.
Seems I am shaking more so today than normall, but still controllable.
No cuts, nicks or weepers.
I grabbed a razor from the box, it was a Black Tip, then loaded a new Feather blade.
I did a 3rd pass on the face to clean up mostly the chin area.
The head shave was a 2 passes with no issues.
I have some redness on the neck, not bad, but there it is.
No other issues.

The Electric Sheep was the scent of the day.
You either like it, or you..... HO-LY-Shi!!!!
It's strong?? No, its Intense!
I have the bar soap, if I don't keep it in a sealed container, it fills the room and takes over completely.
I found this out when I first received it. I put it in the cupboard, by the next day, it had taken over the room.
The other soaps don't have a chance!
I thought it might be good for hicking and the like, seeing how most attract bugs, this shouldn't.
I think I might even be safe, in isle 12.
Hmmmm??
Gonna hang around and get things done here that have been terribly neglected.

March Focus

Hemingway Accoutrements~~Simpson Astor~~Barbasol Floating Head/Gillette Silver Blue
OK, swapped out a couple of items in my quest to conquer the GSB.
Put the once-used blade into the BFH razor.
And, because I wanted to, moved up a few notches from the Parker to the 90th anniversary
Simpson Astor. Oh yeah.
For all you out there questioning Primo's sanity vis-à-vis granules in my shave cream,
I ask you to take a look at this:

I rest my case.
You can even make them out in my completed lather:


Unacceptable at every level.
The shave itself was rather uneventful. My neck has yet to completely recover from the other day.
I might have to take a few days off to let the skin fully heal.
Decent shave, but not what have come to expect.
I might have to go back to my straights before the end of the month.​

 

Yeesh, sounds like a busy day, Clint. All gatherings over 250 have been banned here now. Nothing banned in Florida, I take it.

So that developed over time, and was not always there? I have never had anything like that in a soap or cream, Joseph. I have had a few a First a Canadian soaps that were purported to have that issue, but neither of mine were affected as such.

 

That’s what my wife said of the a Gentleman, Terry...that it was intense and took over the room. Well, that, and the fact she said it smelled like ‘as-‘.

 

That is awesome, Charlie! What you have done is truly life changing. Congrats again.
