Thanks gentlemen. I was disappointed in myself for gaining weight in January and February, but I'm refocused now. Since we'll be eating at home until the doc tells us otherwise, it will be easier to eat properly.

Awesome SRX shave, Charlie. Sometimes when a product doesn't live up to its title it's a good thing--Blood on Steel is definitely one of those

Charlie, those are dynamite shaves and I am glad that you are at the point where you are confident to shave with it. Yes, the confidence level can be a 2 edged sword where you are on autopilot and lose focus in a sec and you get bit. So keep enjoying your shavette journey, my friend!

I usually don't share headshaves unless I simultaneously do a face shave as well. However, I needed to share this shave.
I usually use the Cremo for these shaves, but I decided to use Williams. This soap doesn't give a voluminous lather with my hard water, but it is still slick enough to use to shave. I like using the ShakeSharp for headshaves because I can't cut myself with this razor. Today was no exception. I also use the Model T and the 6C as my main headshave razors and until today the T was my no. one. This Shakesharp did a fantastic BBS shave in 3 passes with minimal touchups with a subpar soap. I have to say this was my best headshave in my 11 yrs of doing so. I have gotten great shaves, but not like this. Shakesharp is no. 1. Sorry no pictures guys. Have a great evening!

 

Paul, congrats on a great shave. I'll take skating rink close anyday. I always shake my bay rum aftershave before using.
