I'm eating more vegetarian meals lately. This began as a way to improve my health, but has turned into a culinary adventure. It's fun to cook new things and find ways to make great tasting foods taste even better. I'm cooking Indian and Mexican dishes more frequently. Legumes are my friends.

My wife doesn't do green food. It's a challenge for us sometimes, but really not too difficult now. The couple that were our neighbors in Spokane were an odd pairing. He was a vegan and she was a meat and potatoes girl. They made it work too.

That's great! I should look into more veggie indian foods because I do like indian food but never thought to make it at home :p Sean and I were fine last time I wasn't eating meat. Made lots of pastas and I'd split the sauce and make one little pot with veggie sauce and one with normal sauce. Stir fry is also great for a house that's mixed vegetarian and meat eater because you cook up all your veggies then make the protein in a different pan (and a flavored tofu or other meat analog if you like them in a 3rd little pan).

edit: YAY! You found me on facebook!! :D

    wow, I'm pooped.

Wife took her GRE test to get into master's degree program this morning, so I spent the morning driving around my college Alma Mater. Great memories, even if I can't remember squat.
My old dorm is missing...building a new one in it's place.
Took a really cool picture of the front of the main building, I'll have to post it later.
Drove around looking for antique stores...nada. but did find some awesome tea...new leaf I believe, used pure cane sugar...oh man that was some incredible stuff, I shoulda bought a case of it.
looks like an early to bed night, but I'll probably be on again later..maybe...perhaps...as long as I'm not the only one in here again...or else I'll dance around extra-nekkid!

I have been eating vegetarian for long periods on my past and It was great.I discovered new tastes and new foods.I love to cook Indian dishes and some japanese/thai ones too.I think that when you know what youre eating thats what it really matters, being a vegetarian or not.I know a lot of vegetarians that cant stop eating sugary things so you can guess what kind of health they have....Also macrobiotics works too, even if you add some poultry to its basic diet.

    speaking of balms...

while in Arkadelphia today, I saw at a Fred's some Old Spice Soothing Gel Aftershave and Moisturizer, I'd never seen it before and would have bought some had my wife not called being done with her test.

anyone ever seen/tried/heard of it? I haven't checked reviews yet since I just remembered it...

    EDIT: here it is...
