Yes, P T Barnum was a character. I live in Port Jeff Station and P T Barnum lived in downtown Port Jefferson. In fact, Barnum Ave is named after him. He lived on that street.

I have some type of blooming ornamental tree just off the back patio. My wife thought a picture in the petals covering the ground would be cool.

    All the above true enough.

After! Your technique is up to par!
Blades will make some slight differences.

I found that I like sharp blades.
But that was well into my adventure of wet shaving.
    For now.....
IF you don't feel comfortable with the blade you are using.
You should work on your technique.

If your getting a consistent shave without issues.
That's when you should go to different blades IF you feel the need.

I went to different blades because I wanted quicker therefore less pass shaves.
    That led to less irritation.

I found that using a new blade every time, makes more of a difference than changing brands of blades.

Otherwise, I don't see a reason to change or try out different blades.
Unless you just want to play around....

    That's my opinion.

    Well...
Besides the fact that I totally missed one spot on the back.
    I recommend it!

    "I can't count that high."

We have an IT Guy at work that only counts 0 to 1....
But he can do it extremely fast.

    Very nice Keith!
    Great picture!

    I get a great shave with my 2013 R41.
But it's a rough shave to say the least.
I wondered about the 2011, if it was any different.
I'll get one if and when I find one under say $80 US.

I didn’t like the 2013 model and sold it. The 2011 are tough to find, good luck.

My 24's are great with that blade.
Not much better than that Dale!

At my work most have been able to access their computer at home and on their phones for a few years now.
    Being 24/365 operation, it's necessary.

I initiated it when the operations went unmaned.
It does take time to work out the bugs and get people trained and comfortable with it.

    Good luck!!!

Beautiful set up, photo, and shave, Jim! :D

Is that the .50 nameplate, and if so, what did you think?

    Thank you, Tim!

Yeah, it's the .50 baseplate. It does have less blade feel than the .85 which gives the impression that it's smoother. Riding the cap kinda negates the gap difference but I wonder if there's a difference in exposure. I can see the bevel is machined at a different angle on each baseplate.
