THURSDAY Working from home like all my other co-workers for now because of virus fear policy (no, I don't have it). So, I will give my face a rest from shaves for a few days. Today wearing the awesome tart Fougere Bijan for men.

Blackland Sabre L2/GEM SS ptfe/RR 24mm Plissoft B&C/GD Ingress Harry’s Post Shave Mist/BRUT splash on cologne Today was my BRUT Day. And the Sabre was up to the task. A great 2 pass shave that left me nearly BBS everywhere minus the throat area and a couple of stragglers on Sir Adam. Delightful shave nonetheless. Even Joe “Willie” Namath would be proud. A great evening and shaves to all....

March Madness/Shavettes March 19 Razor - Feather SS Blade - Soap - Oleo Soapworks El Caballero Brush - Stirling Two Band Synthetic Post - Alum It was a wet and stormy day. In the Lou, anyway. Not as bad as they told us it would be but....Spring is definitely sprung, I do believe. Another fine day of roaming the vast wasteland of the zombie apocalypse. Since it's May 19th, it's also a special day at Cartel HQ. Five years ago, this gem showed up in my mailbox. That, my friends, was my first pain stick. It was a PIF from @Keithmax Keith and when I won it I had no idea what it even was. Back then we had multiple PIF's running in March on TSD, and I just threw in on all of them. I remember looking at this when I opened it and truly wondering if I'd ever even have the guts to try it. Notice the blades. Feather Pro. Part of the PIF. Well, if you're gonna learn you're gonna learn. That, by the way, is the original CJB. It's a clone of the Feather DX for a whole lot less money and old timers watched me do a 30 Day Rule with it, slicing and dicing as I went. This model had one weak point, the spring. It broke. But, CJB had changed out the spring for a better one and introduced the Greager. Same razor, better spring. That's the one I have now and used for my head shave a couple nights ago. Well, that was how I got my start with them, so tonight's shave featuring the Feather SS is just proof of the fact it can be done. Still Feather Pro blades. I've tried all the others. This one is the best, in my humble opinion. The Super Pro is almost scary as it features huge blade exposure. And I find it to be harsh because of it. The guard blades? Not necessary. Yeah, when learning they can help avoid blood on steel but trust me.....you learn when the option is do it right or bleed on steel. Tough love kinda thing there. Still using up the El Caballero and tonight I used the Stirling synthetic to whip up more than enough lather. The Feather SS and Pro blade performed perfectly. Smooth, sharp as you can get and little to no irritation after three passes. Near-BBS and I am extremely happy that Keith gave that CJB away in 2015. Hope you all have a great and safe Friday!
