Thank you, Jason! I am selective of the conference calls I turn the camera on for.

Thank you Jason. I really like the way the razor turned out. The new Fine scent is a winner. I had forgotten how good the soap works. It still leaves a white residue but I guess I will just have to overlook that issue.

Thanks guys. I was pretty scruffy when I started shaving, and I was initially just looking for a regular (usually pretty good) shave. As I got started, I just kept going, thinking how funny it would be to get an epic shave from a $3 Travel Tech.

Tim, I was partially inspired by your Sunday shaves where you continue to buff and chase the little tyke with reckless abandon.

Keith, I was also partially inspired by your routine four-pass epic shaves. When I first started DE shaving, I would perform four passes. My face would usually be on fire afterward because my technique was so poor. I still don't think I could get away with successive four-passers without paying a price.

Jason, you're right about the handle on the Tech. At some point, I will try a heavier handle on it. Part of tonight's fun was just to see what kind of shave I could achieve using a less-than-optimum razor. It's nice to know I can take this little razor on a trip and know that it will provide an excellent shave.

There's always been a voice in my head (it sounds like little Calvin) that tells me I should try a nine-pass shave sometime. This is actually something I've always wondered if I could do and how it might feel. (Nine passes? Don't ask me why? It's the 30DC, and stranger things have been done here before. Move on.) I've never heard of anyone doing a nine-passer. I'm sure I would be reasonably OK if my technique is on point. Maybe this is something I'll try for fun with a DE razor (nope, not a shavette, just nope) once things settle down. I don't think I'll push my luck right now since I'm under home incarceration. If something went wrong, I'd have a hard time justifying my actions. Oh well, now I have a future goal. :)

I sure hope I don't need to venture out in public for a few days. I'd have an incredibly hard time not touching my face. :D

Another wet and cold day along the two rivers. Although that big shiny thing showed up late in the afternoon for a bit. Sure wish I could figure out what it is. Anyway, another fine day out chasing hungry people through a plague. Who says life can't be fun, eh? I come home smelling like sanitizing wipes and rubbing alcohol. At least nothing should be sticking to me that shouldn't be. Always nice to hit the time to shave, which tonight came after a dinner of homemade ham and beans with homemade cornbread. Does it get any better than that?????

The shave tonight was round two with the Luxor Pro and half a Sharp Star. Another night with El Caballero and the JR46 to make sure the lather was perfect. No issues on three passes. Smooth, very nice DFS finish and only a slight bit of irritation on my neck. I got just a tad carried away there. All in all, a good Tuesday. Hump Day tomorrow, gentleman. Let's go get it!!

I dunno--house arrest seems like a great time to try something crazy.

If things goes on as they are till May, I may try daily-digit-shaving for MAYhem: May 1st... one pass. May 2nd... two passes. May 3rd... three passes. And so on. Too many soaps? The daily-digit-shave is your answer! ;)

Not on the last couple weeks. I'm struggling to keep my team and family going strong. Hopefully this weekend. Still want to figure out some radial cuts.

    Good morning

Outstanding shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Silent alum.

First go with the .90 OC plate. Just as smooth as the other plates but with a bit more blade feel. Early impressions are that this is my favorite plate so far, even with my less than stellar lather this morning. I need to check the water softener. My lather kept dissipating.

    Have a great day!

Just beautiful, Jim. The Zenith brush handle really pops. Top shelf shave despite the lather issues. Have a smoooth day, and be safe.
