1st outing with this razor and …..and....it was interesting. As others have noted, the thing is really heavy which has a great impact on it's use. I lathered up, set the razor at 2 1/2 and after the first couple of strokes went to 2. Upon starting the 2nd pass, turned it down to 1 1/2 and finished up. Very close for sure but...I have to be careful with this one. I find it aggressive as h^%ll and tough on my face. And before some out there start thinking "Woosie", just remember that all things shaving are YMMV. I'm old, my skin is thinning and that has a great impact on what my shaves are like.

I'll use it again tomorrow and report back again. Then I'll go to the Alumi-Tar and let y'all know

Razor: Oneblade Core Version 2 - MFG 2018> great daily driver!
Blade : Gem SS PTFE modified(7)
Soap: Razorock XXX
Brush: Razorock Noir 400 synthetic- great brush.
Preshave: Brush wash the whole face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe vera gel on beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Postshave : Razorock XXX aftershave witch Hazel + Nivea balm.
Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers =great shave after 2 day growth.

I am a rose fragrance lover. The dilemma is that some of, or most of the rose fragrances [non oud versions] are "granny like.". My favorite puck is Love by Soap Commander. ASB is the best. It has none of that granny on it. It is a true rose garden version.

Today I used TOBS cream - and it performs fine. It does have a smidgen of granny rose on it, but I am determined to use it till done. Jo Malone Red Roses EDT / BALM is in the same musky - rose family as TOBS.
