Awesome! One of these days you'll have to gather them all together and take the world's most awesome photo ;)

If I didn't have a plethora of soaps, I would definitely purchase a few more CF.
    Thanks, Blair.
    My pleasure, Clint.
Dr. Mrs. Primo just did the sniffy-sniff and said: "It's ok". :)

    Shavette Shave #25

    Gear
    • Razor: The Max Headroom Focus R21 shavette
    • Blade: Personna Blue (2)
    • Brush: Semogue Boar
    • Soap: Soap Commander “Drive”
    • Menthol: Stirling Frost Drops: tried something a bit different today. Wanted to end the shave chilly, so scraped my palm against the tip of the bottle to get the equivalent of a half drop, then put a bit of AV in my palm, rubbed my hands together, and applied… niiiice chill! :D
    • AS: Aqua Velva Ice Blue (w/half a Frost Drop)
    • Balm: Stirling Glacial Unscented

    The Shave...

Had a bit of a breakthrough today. After chasing without sufficient lather yesterday, I thought I’d take things easy on my face. I started the shave with the idea of just going for 3 WTG passes. The 1st pass went how the 1st pass typically goes--moderate reduction, and drama free.

Went for pass 2, and really focused on stretching. Slow and deliberate strokes. It took forever, but I was getting to some of the areas that I figured would never get shaved with an open blade. Because I was so focused and taking my time, fatigue was starting to creep in, and I was afraid this would affect my 3rd pass. After a quick cold water rinse, however, I discovered I was actually feeling pretty good as-is. Dried off to take stock of the situation: Somewhere on the CCS side of DFS/CCS--absolutely no irritation. Winner! Makes no sense to push things that are already going just fine, so I cleaned up and called it good. And it is good.

My stick of Soap Commander Drive was starting to feel a bit on the light side, so I decided to take a quick look at where I stand. For all you jar-loaders: this is the equivalent of a moderately advanced stage of ring-of-death syndrome.

Not nearly as dramatic, I realize, as looking at a mostly empty jar… but still. Don’t know if I’ve got a week’s worth of shaves left in this stick or not. I’m actually a bit sad about that. “Drive” is a limited edition scent, and I rather like it--Leather and Vetiver… who’d have thunk it?

Friday--be safe and enjoy your weekend, everybody! :D

    25 down, 75 to go!

The Red Tip is pretty mild as well. It is just a little heavier.

I'll do some digging, then--I imagine it'll be some of the most pleasant digging a person can wind up doing ;)

Impressive on the scrapbook paper supply, Jason. 1700 sheets sounds like a lot. I recall you have more blades, though.

By the way, you gents working from home with kids in the house have it made.

Some of my best times have been spent in the middle of 20 Kindergarteners. I'm well aware that three five-year-old boys can work together and bring a grown man to the floor...until he develops 360 degree vision. You don't realize what a good time you had until you sweep up a pound of cheese puff and Goldfish crumbs off the floor and then try to get all the magic marker ink off your hands. I wasn't good at pulling teeth or fishing toys out of the toilet though. We all have areas for improvement. You and your Bride have it made, Tim. :)
