I have found that my coffee consumption has cut down... not my caffeine consumption, since I started using the aeorpress. Nothing like putting 4 shots in the travel mug and topping off with hot water. I can't drink it straight espresso with the beans I am using, but it is stouter than Americano.

 

oh yeah, my young padawan, you are starting to master the ways of the [slash]force[/slash] aeropress

 

Yeah... I am just waiting until I try some real coffee beans on this thing. However, after years of dealing with noisy/messy grinder and then ending up with a gritty french press or sub-standard drip, this is a great compromise. (I put a second one for home on my wishlist)

 

Gah, you're reminding me that I need coffee as well.

My day was AWESOME! I just found out that I may very well be the first prof my college to teach via the Virtual College of Texas in the spring semester! That rocks. :happy088

Oh, and my four year old was soooo happy to see me home. That is an awesome feeling.

Wow, just Googled the Aeropress (yeah, I know - what took me so long?). They're fairly inexpesive and sound like they make great coffee. Hmmm...

Well, they actually sell them in Moscow (just east of here). Might have to cruise over tomorrow afternoon and have a peek...

 

Hmmm... I thought the kewl kids were all getting semogue boar brushes and Ikon razors.. I will get one eventually.

 

I found a place nearby that had one so I waited a few weeks until I was going out that way. D'OH! I could have had one on Amazon for what twenty-six with free shipping. But no.... I had to wait and go to a brick and mortar to get it at $43 plus sales tax. Ugh! There was no price tag on the thing, I had already signed the receipt for the bank card before I realized that they didn't say that the total was thirty something with tax....

However, despite the surprising high local price, I am glad that I bought it. I will just get the next one through Amazon.
