So last night I decided to shave my head. I'm pretty much bald on top so it wasn't that big of a change. I shaved with my NEW LC and just worked the Proraso White cream onto my hair and shaved without using clippers. I took a long time.

This morning I shaved my face with my Dovo Inox. Very nice DFS face shave.

I'm undecided if I will keep shaving my head. If I do it will be a 3 to 4 week deal. My 7 year old daughter really doesn't like it. This AM she ordered me to "NEVER do it again." So I got to gently teach her about accepting my choices. Someday I'm sure she'll teach me that lesson right back. I hope she doesn't escalate too much.

Fire this tune up, rock on with the shave gear of choice, get a healthy splash of Clubman and you are sanitized and protected for a trip to the market to wrangle with the aisle 12 babes for a roll of Charmin.

You will get there. You just haven't found the sweet spot yet. I stretch my chin by placing my lip on my bottom gums so I look like I am a bulldog. The other area is the bulb of the chin where you have to manipulate the razor to follow through from the chin to the neck. Straight razor newbies have a difficult time with that move. I am sure that you have watched straight razor shave videos to know what I have described.

Great shaves Evan! I have been bald since 18 and have been a headahaver almost 12 years. Believe me, you have the face and perfect shaped head. Now, unless your back portion is flat, you are rockin it. Let's face it, seven year old's are quite adaptive. She may grow to like it after the initial shock wears off.

Is it becoming hard to shave with the same razor, twice in a row?

Do you spend nights looking over the net for the "next" buy, be it hardware or software?

Do you spend time snooping in junk and antique stores for razor paraphernalia?

Do you shave with cheap Dollar Store razors, and Dollar Store soaps for a "shave fix"?

If you use a blade twice, do you get a sense that your shave could have been better, if you would have just used a new blade?


Oh and ...
I'll keep looling around here.

Four or so years ago my wife, much like your daughter, told me never to shave my head again. The amazing thing is that I hadn't even shaved my head. Ever. I called her out on it, but she informed me it was a pre-emptive strike to keep me from doing it. Well played, Madame. Well played.
