I keep on enjoying shaving with Nantahala. The soap is extremely slick and eventhough I had to get used to the pine-apple scent, it really starts to grow on me . Lovely way to start my morning

The Kiss My Face Cool Mint Moisture Shave Cream face-lathered well with Jayaruh #400 brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette 109 Black Beauty with a Gillette Silver Blue blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Honestly, I don’t know how Jaco was able to get so much menthol into this soap and have it retain such a beautiful scent - he’s a grand master. This African Potato X 3 lathers like a champ - the more you work up the lather the thicker it gets, it gives fantastic slickness, and it’s as frigid as any of the Stirling Glacials, not to mention how skin friendly it is. After a nice long facial massage with the Prep and a couple of splashes of the Rubby Dubby Doo as I call the Osage Rub I was good to go. The Derby helped to give me an A1 BBS shave!

It's cold but not glacial level. It's hard to compare with mentholated soaps because the synthetic cooling agent doesn't affect the scent and I don't feel it in my eyes.

Nostalgia Shave
Today would have been home opening day for the Tigers. I support the measures we are taking to combat covid-19, but I still miss baseball. The scent of cracker jack, leather, grass and earth are very welcome today. The glove was my Dad's Marty Marion model from the 1940s. The ball is from 1968, I think it is a mass produced autograph ball, but I love it because it is also from my Dad.

I like this soap, but it means summer is approaching. And I hate summer!

I heard some people experience a difficult lathering: I don't and believe it's because I use it as a stick.
