  1. Thank you Jason. My Tatara razors are among my favorites but they all have smaller sweet spots than my other razors.

  3. Thanks, Jason!
I have picked my favorites but I'll likely be using the 1.18 the next time the Start comes up in the rotation. The extra warmth from the alum says I don't have it quite dialed in. I'm anxious to try out my .68 GameChanger.

  4. Will be following this adventure with interest--most of these I've not yet used.
  5. Hope it's just Springtime allergies, Jim. Good health to you and your Bride!

    Eye-popping shave, as usual!

Superb thick creamy lather with the AoS SC and the Ever Ready synthetic, really liking this flat top brush. 2 pass shave with neck touch ups. DFS+ result with no weepers, the DX kamisori handle mostly on auto pilot lately (but NOT....don't want any mistakes with this unassuming bad boy). Quick light application of PAA's ASB, and a nice dose of AoS Oud Suede.

Following along on the thread, but time constrained for individual responses sometimes. Thanks for all the comments on my shaves, and love all the gear/images posts going on.

Still working (a little), but mainly tearing through small honey do projects as well as the bathroom project. The bathroom repair/restoration is about a third done, today is changing shower plumbing fixtures, and time willing, installing glass shower doors.

    Have a great day everyone!

  7. Looks really nice, James! @Screwtape would be proud!
  8. Thanks, Charlie. I'm hoping that's all it is as well. At any other time I would have gone to work today.

  10. Awesome shave, Blair! Really like that Feather set up. I've for to get some experience with oud--I keep seeing it pop up, but have no point of reference for it. I like aromatic woods, so it seems like it would be right up my alley. :)
  11. Awesome Menthol Monday shave, Terry, and an intriguing, slightly scary looking razor. Love how compact and light it is though--if you can get past how sketchy it looks, that would be an incredible travel razor. :D

  12. Decided to toss that "no-name" tiny bottle of A.S. I was worried about the pour spout being too big. Putting Stephan A.S(Bay Rum). in its place for my current set. I can come right back to it when I bring out the Jeeves Bay Rum.
  13. Very cool looking razor! :happy096:

  14. Anytime you can get an excellent shave with 3 days growth without incident is epic. Kudos to you Jason!

  16. Awesome shave Joseph! I have a lavender soap, but I am hesitant about the rose scent. I am thinking it must be on the mild side and that it has a clean, fresh smell. I am also thinking that it isn't super sweet just like the typical feminine rose scent.

  18. How about outerworldly or over-the-top shave as terms for the ultimate shave?
  19. My Gamechanger is the .68 JAWS. I like it. @Linuxguile has both the .68 and .84 versions, and I believe he stated that the shaves were very similar but the .84 had a larger sweet spot. I'm thinking of getting one of the .84 baseplates in the future.
  20. I might add that anyone who sings and appreciates opera and other genres of classical music is a classy guy!
