Great to hear, Jim. We are doing fine, and we share the cabin fever.

    Thanks Charlie!

If it weren't for the grandkids, I'd stay home all the time.
But my daughter has to work, and all of us working and schooling from home makes it hard to watch little ones, in diapers, all day.
So off to the only daycare chosen to be open in the county, by the state.
45 mile round trip every morning.

I looked under the bed, nothing there.
I'm thinking of taking a sweep of the house some day.

    Thanks Jim!
I always use my cellphone, it does OK.

    Thanks Joe!
It's not my favorite, but if I didn't like it, I would not buy the full monty.

    Thanks Jason!
It might remind you of a Monobuilt in flip cap.
The shave is more mild than the Monobuilt.
I get a good shave with it, dont get me wrong.
You do have to figure out how to hold it properly, then, shave away.

Sorry about not replying to everyone's shave.
Here in the woods we only have satellite web service.
Because we all need it, sharing is a necessity.
The work and schooling takes priority, things slow down to a craw or stop if we aren't careful.
It's unbelievably slow as it is.

I coughed while at the gym shortly before it closed, and.....well.....let's just say.....I got some.....RESPONSES. It was a fluke, I had just gagged on my water.

I'd start my tirade (really like my SS), but I haven't tried any of the 3 piece Gillettes, so you may very well be right--they'd have to be pretty darned good, though ;) :D

How many razor stands constitutes a collection? Asking for a friend.

If your 'friend' had a stand for every razor he owned, that would be a mind-boggling collection ;)

Thanks Tim! I am a maverick when it comes to using any soap at anytime. I am not denying that certain soaps are more appropriate at certain times of the year, but if you love the scent, then use it. Some people like winter, so wear a winter scent in the summer or a summer scent in winter, especially if you have to stay home because of the weather or in this case the COVID 19 virus.

Not for every razor, but if a matching stand was offered it was purchased. My friend has issues.

Shavette Shave #29--"Wrapping It up with a Bow on Top"

    Gear
    • Razor: The Max Headroom Focus R21 shavette
    • Blade: Feather Hi Steel (3)--three shaves is most definitely the limit for shavette shaves
    • Brush: Semogue Boar--lost another bristle (Oh, Semogue Boar, thou art a painful reminder of mine own hair)
    • Soap: Soap Commander “Drive”--Driven!
    • Menthol: Stirling Frost Drops
    • AS: Pinaud Citrus Musk (with a half drop of Frost Drops to chill that citrus burn)
    • Balm: Stirling Glacial Unscented

    The Shave...

Another 2 pass shave for the books today. 1st pass (WTG) was all quiet on the facial front (neck too, I guess).

Pass 2 was mostly XTG this time round and turned out decent enough; I ain’t going anywhere. The set down from two days ago caught up with me again, but disappeared before the pass was finished.

The results were definitely closer to CCS than DFS; however, no irritation at all, and that is what I’m after on the weekdays--look good, feel great!

Some remarkable things happened this month. First and foremost, one month of shavette shaves without any serious mishaps or disfigurement. I attribute much of this to the design of the Focus R21 shavette. I’ll test this out in May when I do a few shaves with the Utopia Care shavette (designed, I’m fairly certain, to slice its users). Second, on the last day of the focus, I managed to bottom out my stick of Soap Commander “Drive”....

    20200331_104719-01.jpeg

...Alas, poor SC Drive! I knew him, Horatio…. A stick of infinite shaves--where be your shaves now?

A thought: ‘Tuesday’ and ‘Terrific’ both start with the letter ‘T’... coincidence? I think not!

    29 down, 71 to go!

    There's always next time!

Peppermint TOBS is a truly outstanding soap. This is my second tub... Got the first from the shop in London. Very cool store!

    I shouldn't laugh, but that is funny!
