  1. 1 day in and 80 comments thus far, and it's only 9:30 A.M. (Well, make it 81..I forgot about my own comment, chuk yuk yuk). I'm lookin' at a record here.

  2. Sounds like an awesome line up! :D
  3. Had a great first shave today. It passes Zoom HD video standards!

Need to work on going ATG as there are a few rough spots.

    Thoroughly enjoyed it!

First lesson for me for April.

When using a new tool don't over-shave no matter how much you're tempted!

  4. So, scissors, a pillow, a banana peel, and Limburger cheese--did that last September... made for some fantastic shaves! ;)

  5. Beautiful set up and photo, Gary! Seeing your soap shot threw me back 35 years. My Dad used to fly jets and was stationed in Ramstein Air Force Base for a summer. We used to visit Heidelberg fairly regularly.
  6. Thank you Jim.
  7. Awesome set of shaves, Matthew! I've seen Wolfthorn as a deodorant, but didn't know they made it as an aftershave as well--all I ever see is the Classic OS. Very cool! :D
  8. Fantastic photo and shave Jim. Supposedly the A&E Asian Pair uses a newer base with the ingredient ratio tweaked. Look forward to your thoughts on that through April.
  9. Awesome shave, Dale! I've really enjoyed the News that I've seen featured in some of the focuses in March--they sound like awesome shavers :D
  10. Thank you Jeff. The Tatara Masamune is milder than the Nodachi. The Masamune is very similar to the Lupo but with a smaller sweet spot. The Nocachi is very similar to the Kare with a D plate.
  11. Thank you Jim
  12. Wow, Jeff--you came back in style! A weeks worth of growth, and a 2 pass BBS shave... :smiley respect:

From what I've read, those Supers are supposed to be very aggressive. Nicely handled, sir, and can't tell you how incredibly wonderful it is to hear from you again :D
  13. Hi Simon, this is the first time that I have seen you. My name os Joe. Welcome to 30DC!
  14. Darn your pictures are so awesome, Gary!

  15. I've been on the forum a few years, but fairly inactive. Lockdown has given me more time to perfect the craft of facial hair removal and this forum's always been excellent!

    Thanks for the welcome!

  16. I hope this isn't true, James. Although last time I heard this was going to happen, I ordered 4 sticks from Connaughts only to see them available a year later. I gave away a stick to my father-in-law, but I still have a couple back ups, at least...
  17. A fantastic Fatboy shave, Terry! I always enjoy using the sample bath soaps Stirling includes in my orders, and just recently got a bar of Varen from my sister that I look forward to using--definitely a great part of the pre-shave routine :D
