    Moving Thowback Day this week to Saturday. I'll come back with the same combo tomorrow, except for a different:

    Brush-Crown King 26" Spindle Duro Tali.

    It better be a super duper shave, as I am pairing a Crown King product with a Phoenix product. CK is one with PAA.

    April 1st SOTD

    Another smooth Ikon X3 shave today thanks to Perma-sharp and Clubman Pinauld. I'm smooth and smell great. Happy Shaves all.

    SOTD - mid-week menthol

    My 1st use of the Astra SS Blue, from the sampler pack bought from Razor Emporium. An excellent, BBS 2-pass on 3-day growth, zero irritation as I ran the alum over my face for one pass. A shave so good I experimented a bit and didn't use witch hazel, just went straight to the Proraso Green, on the heavy side to get that fresh scent to stay with me, which it did.

    Pre- Liquid Neutrogena & warm water face wash
    Razor- Merkur 34c
    Blade- Astra SS Blue
    Brush- Surrey boar
    Cream- Proraso Green
    Bowl- Captain's Choice
    Post- Classic Shaving alum & cold water rinse
    AS- Proraso Green

    Paul,

    TBH, I think it is a great inexpensive product. It provides a quick brushless prep for your favorite blade and razor. In my opinion, it is simple to use and provides a pretty slick cushion even when buffing. Even when I don't use it as a shave cream, I often use a little as an aftershave balm and it works very well. Plus the scent and very low price is a welcome bonus . I suggest getting some and giving it a try.
