Good to hear from you, Myles! Stay healthy! Hard not to, at your point in life. All the best!

Yes, I double stack the blades. I haven't used single blades. Yes, Evan did use the ShakeSharp last month.

Great looking razor, Gary! I just a bought a Karve wide body cap. I kept nicking my ears with the exposed tabs. You're definitely spot on about the handle. I sold my Karve gladius handle. That original Karve Guilloche handle is great looking. It looks almost like it was made for the that New SC head. Sounds like your frankenrazor is working well for you.

I've used them both ways, but the double stacking just works so well on the dome. What was Evan's (@MrEE) experience like?

Sorry to hear about your experience with the 7 O'clock, James. The only one of the 7 O'Clocks I like are the yellow packaged ones. Voskhods are fabulous blades, smooth and acceptably sharp for me. That's the blade I always use in a new razor. Of course, YMMV. Fatips are great razors. I was shaving with a Piccolo a few months ago; it was a nice efficient shaver.
    Enjoy your shaves,

    Jeff

Great report and commentary Tim! More progress! Neat play with the DOF on your image too!

Sounds awesome. I've also had great experiences/purchases with Razor Emporium.

The 6S, another great shaver! I'm sure you'll get the RA dialed to your 6S results. Both are great hardware, IMO. The 6S.....keep forgetting I own that one....always packed in my weekend 'go' bag....and once this C19 crud started, well, not had to use that bag.

Glad your shave worked out for you, Maestro, despite your unhappiness with the pricing. I have a Fatboy and a Slim, but don't find either to be a particularly good shaver. When it comes to adjustables, I'll stack my Rex Ambassador or Gibbs Adjustables against either. If I had my druthers, I'd shave with MWF for the rest of my life. At the rate the pucks I own hold up, that just may be the case. Anyway, the means always justify the ends if the end results in a great shave. Have a great evening, Joseph!

Gorgeous razors, Gary! If and when you acquire that Silversmith, I guarantee you'll love it! Don't know anyone who owns one who doesn't. I know this is not your issue, but it is probably one of the best DE head shavers available.

Arko April 2: Today my paring is Arko with an Omega Pro, decided to make the shave 'upscale' with French Revisor Pimp stick.... plus I know this razor has a great edge on her. Everything delivered and the shave was epic, yes an epic shave with Arko. Sadly this puck is quite old and has lost most of the wonderful Lemon Pledge scent. I was planning on wearing Terre de Hermes today but after the shave that felt wrong, so what is appropriate after an Arco-Omega Pro shave? CLUBMAN!

After my humble shave I wanted to match the bling of my razor with my watch today.

Gorgeous watch, Keith! I used to own a Reverso, but sold it along with all of my collection except for my Rolex gold and silver blue-faced sub. You're really rocking those cufflinks.

I haven't shaved my head yet with the shake sharp. I used an open comb because my hair was about .5 inches long. I thought it would clog less. Well I should have just started with clippers. I will try the shake sharp next.
