Ahhh Grail :D! As in Monty Python, yes? Obviously there is no other!

It's madness over here... So many things cancelled! Edinburgh Festival, Wimbledon etc. :angry019:

A Fatip costs similar to that, doesn't it?! :duel:

Very cool, Chris. Love it! How 'bout a photo of this Dynamic Duo of which you speak? Welcome back to the party, my brother.

For me, excellent skin stretching made all the difference on the ATG passes. I coat the fingertips of my off-hand with alum and literally follow with that hand behind the razor all the way through the stroke. Unless you have to scratch, your off-hand should always be busy stretching your skin. Keep rolling and letting us know how you're doing. You'll get there, Simon. :)

    Good morning everyone!
Got out my Vikings Blade adjustable, The Crusader.
Loaded a new Feather blade, opened it up, went to work.
This razor doesn't have numbers for an adjustment, I just used the wide open setting.
A heavy razor, even compared to heavy razors.
2 passes head and face, one issue.
The ballance is good but being a mighty heavy tool, I needed to slow down.
The razor reminded me of this on the left side of the gord.
A small bump that I should've went over easily, is no more.
    I know better, but?

Heavy razors have more kinetic energy in them, running fast isn't advised.
A fine shaver that's handsome and efficient.
If you like razors with some lead to them, this razor will check that box.
Stirling did it's normal greatness, the synthetic brush worked great.

    All
    be safe
    ENJOY!

Thanks, Jeff. I am going to give it another go this morning, using a better razor, better blade and face-lathering. Report to follow.

The last day before a state wide shelter in place takes effect. I am not sure how that will impact me since we are listed as an essential business. At the very least it will be interesting over the next few weeks. I am 3 and out on blades so I went with a Feather today. A very nice BBS shave but I did get 3 weepers due to my not paying attention. I hope everyone has a great Thursday. Take care and be safe.

Great post, Terry. This statement reminds me of my old Empire 598 III Turntable. Even though I could balance the tonearm to 1 gram, it was still so massive that it tore up the grooves in my albums.

    It's still 16 ounces over here. ;)

I was first-timer in London and had my first experience making change. Up to that point, the only coins I could easily recognize and use were the pound and 50p coins. I just kept collecting all those other coins in my pocket until I had so many that I couldn't keep my pants up. I purchased a bottle of water for 99p in a shop, and I thought I would seize that opportunity to finally rid myself of all these coins and prove to anyone watching that I was a savvy international traveler. I dug out all my coins, spread them out on the counter, examined them as you imagine a 5-year old would...desperately trying to make sense out of what I had...holding up the queue (see what I did there?)...hoping I could scrounge up 99p without breaking another bill.

After patiently waiting for a socially unacceptable long time, the clerk finally said, "here, just take the water."

I mumbled, "thanks," put all the coins back in pocket, and tried not to make eye contact with anyone in the queue as I left. I wasn't sure whether to laugh or hang my head in shame. My Bride and I had a really good laugh.

I'm pretty sure I brought all these coins home with me. I didn't know what else to do with them.

    Stay humble, my friends. ;)

    Nice, Terry!
Sorry about the weepers, Clint. Pretty picture though!
