That you can get such a good shave from such an aggressive razor, but still have quiet alum says a whole lot about your technique, sir. Nicely done!

 

thank you James,love taking outdoor pics when i can,well lots of time at present..

 

I'm sure these other razors are great-but I have issues with two areas-putting the blade into the razor and setting it for just the right angle.

I'd like to find where I can get the green one. The others I love. I will say this about the musk...you'd hardly know it's an Aqua Velva Product. That's how cologne-y it is(to me anyway).

 

well, you say everyone else, but just you wait till I try that when I get around the Apple. If I don't get a cut, you can add me to your list

 

i think the green is canada only.the musk is a nice classic,just not on me..same as bay rum,doesn't work on me very well.so the wife says..

 

I grated mine down as well, though if they had their soap in a push-up stick holder, I probably would have used it as-is.

 

Ah, that explains the green. Your wife negates AV regular AND Bay Rum?

 

Man I could go for THAT!(the curbside barbering).

 

i had problem getting enough on the face to lather at first,but i enjoy bowl lathering more anyway.i face lathered the williams for the same 10 years,it got old.now i just do what is fun with the occasional boar brush face lather with much better soaps..spoiled i guess...the williams/boar replaced canned goo but still used mach 3's for that period.then i found de shaving.started fresh.the cheaper soaps i used represent a not so enjoyed part of shaving,though still better than the canned stuff imo..

wife likes the blue and green,just not heavy musk based scents,and bay rum.not a patchouli fan either..

 

She might like STEPHAN Bay Rum....all ingredients are neatly mixed in together.

 

Very nice combo, Jeff. 6 drops of M-Bomb! Not for the faint of heart.

 

On the brighter side, 3" of snow will eventually turn into water later on down the road--we could use a bit of that time-release h20 in the Sierra Nevada right about now

i had the ogallala soap and aftershave..she didn't like it on me..not enamoured with it enough to venture forward with bay rum products,though i am sure there are excellent choices out there.
