    The Shave...
Day 2 focusing on face lathering. I like to shave with cold water, and I started with a very wet brush, but Stirling is pretty forgiving when it comes to water. I got the water dialed in more quickly today, and didn’t need to make any adjustments after my 1st pass was under way. Speaking of 1st pass, the WTG pass was drama (and blood) free.

2nd pass (ATG) went very well also; however, there was the tiniest pinprick weeper that popped up and disappeared before the cold water rinse. If it wasn’t for the fact that I was working right next to that area, I might not have even known it happened--my favorite kind of weeper. Ended up on the DFS side of a DFS/CCS :)

Enjoy the rest of your Thursday, folks. Stay safe!

    31 down, 69 to go!

Gary, you are always a kind gentlemen. I appreciate you having me over to visit your Man Cave last week.

I have to admit...these beauties are cooler than watches and cuff links.

I reckon you'll be super happy! Plus, if you like the way it shaves, you'll be able to antique it like your Karve!

Many thanks, Jim. I really appreciate it.

I hope you continue to feel better each day. CDC guidelines recommend that folks recover faster by visiting the on-line shaving vendors and following Simpson's Twitter feed.

Blessed news about Kathy! Super excited to hear it, Charlie :D

And a great shave, too. 2 passes and near BBS? Very nice, indeed. Speaking of "Very nice", I threw an old cloth over the crate in the barn that Helga eats her pork rinds and Camels on--told her she's now living in a mansion. She thinks it's... well, you know... ;)

Thank you, James. I appreciate the kind words.

I'm sure the Mayo Clinic is running all sorts of projections on ICU patient load right now. The fact that they are scheduling elective procedures a few weeks from now is encouraging.

    Stay safe!

I thought you had one. Thanks for the tip on the angle. The thread on B&B has them trying riding the cap on one extreme to riding the bar on the other. I am sure I will figure it out.

    Thank you Gary.

I hope I like it. If not, Blackland has a 30 day return policy so it will go back. I did just shine it up with some aluminum polish. @Boojum1 Mark shamed me into trying to keep this one looking good.

Charlie that is fantastic news for Kathy. I think this calls for some drive thru ice cream to celebrate.

Thanks, Charlie. I feel good and see no problem returning to work on Monday.

I have been frequenting shaving websites and supporting these small businesses. It also gets me out of the house for a walk down to the mailbox. Today's delivery from Dirtybird Pottery, a small bowl and a brush scuttle. [IMG]
