    Thank you for your concern Charlie. I really appreciate it. I was reading today's Newsday and they have the number of positive COVID-19 cases for each town on Long Island. Within an 8 mile radius of my house, there were approximately 400-500 cases. I limit my time to food shopping, my 7-11 coffee run and my 30 to 45 minutes of walking for my daily constitutional. I know that I am covered by the blood of Jesus and that I pray Psalm 91 for myself, loved ones, friends and that includes you and everyone here on this site. I am not fearful, but I do limit my time outside in keeping with the guidelines. I know that our country will get through this and that because of it, I believe we will treat each other better than before. Again, thanks and God bless!

    The small bowl is for brush soaking and dipping the tips of my brush in when building my lather. The brush scuttle is pure decadence keeping the lather warm between passes when I face lather.

    Thank you, Tim! Those two passes are mighty slow and careful ones, though. I've been taking my time, focusing on the basics, and really enjoying the shaves. I have a light beard, so it's actually more satisfying to wait and shave a couple of days growth. The chin, though...there's my nemesis.

    Thanks, James! They'll get used tomorrow morning. 1 to 3 inches of snow predicted for tonight. A warm lather before going out to shovel will be a nice start to the day.
