Love those vintage OS bottles, Jim!
I think you need to pick up a TR6...for Science and inter-generational training purposes...

True that--very distinctive. I like that in a scent (even if the people around me don't always agree ;))

Thanks, Jason, that TR6 is and has been my baby for 45 years through two body restorations and an engine and wire harness replacement. Bought it new when I was 28.

The secret, Tim, is to swap one passion (my 750CC Triumph Rocket 3) for the safer Triumph TR6. As my first SWMBO, may she Rest In Peace, used to say, “the only difference between men and boys is the size of their toys!”.

I used to make the commute to the rural high school where I teach on a Honda Nighthawk 250--45 minutes one way on country roads in the fog and rain. Some days the wind would push me all over the lane. Don't get me started on the Semi-trucks. I am convinced a bigger toy would have been a lot safer. The Missus wasn't :happy102:

    Arko Adjustable April

    April 2

    Razor - 1960 (F4) Gillette Toggle (9)
    Blade - voskhod-teflon-coated.jpg
    Soap - Arko
    Brush - 30DC LE
    Post - Alum

So, I see you all went and doubled the number of posts from yesterday. That's ok. More to read tonight! I decided that now that we've got April well underway it's time to get serious about the adjustable I will use to really start with. Arko is a given. Since the Toggle is in my den, the Toggle gets the call. The 30DC LE brush with Tuxedo knot made Arko whimper into submission, but Arko is pretty easy to get under control anyway. Another reason it's a classic. Toggle fully open at 9, with a Voskhod on board. Three passes, BBS result, no blood or irritation, and that's how a Thursday is done! Hope you all made the best of yours and have a great Friday!! Weekend approaches. Try to get some outside time in if you can. Just keep your flippin' distance, will ya? :scared007:

Awesome set up, shave and report, Neal. I've heard folks talk about the Toggle, but I don't recall actually seeing one before--super cool!

Enjoy your Friday day eve :D
