    good morning gents,friday shave..well just ending week 3 of the stay-cation..building a 32 ford roadster kit from cool parts.took a while to jump start the process again.kind of like writer's block.took today's shave pic in the sun yesterday afternoon ,grab sunshine while you can,up here anyway .the 59 brit gold flare tip/platinum combo delivered a fine bbs shave in 2+ passes,with the tobs royal forest providing the slip and slide.the ds cosmetics tuxedo built a fine lather.royal forest aftershave capped it off.awesome.have a fine friday everyone..

    I shaved on 9 this morning, but at my point in life I’m going to use those razors that knock it out of the park for me. I have nothing against adjustables, I just don’t like Gillette Adjustables. I have a Slim and a Gold Black Beauty that belonged to my Dad. I’m keeping all three razors as collectibles, but don’t anticipate using them much.

    Aaaand it's that day of the week again-time for your Friday Files:

    -Good shave this morning. They can help us face these days with at least SOME confidence.
    -As I look at my Den, I find it may not be necessary to go on a "shave splurge" for this spring and summer as I once thought. We'll see what happens as the warm weather kicks in.

    I own the Vector, and love it! Shane builds a great razor, and the Blackbird was the razor that catapulted his company into the limelight. I’m not surprised by your experience. Great shave report and pic.

    Fine shave this morning with the Gillette Foamy, followed by Stephan Bay Rum. I "warmed" the Gillette a bit by holding it under warm(not hot)water. I think that helped the softness I got. Only one pass(as is always the case when I do creams/foams). No cuts. Very Excellent.
