  1. Hi friends, I hope you all are well. Things remain extremely busy in my house. Working from home, with the kids at home, doesn't leave much time for anything else. On top of that we are getting ready to welcome our third son into the world a week from today.

Manic Mondays start soon. In the meantime I'll leave you with these, happy Friday! :

  2. I find it interesting how many of the old ingredients sound natural. Whereas the new formula sounds very 'chemical'! :angry019:
  3. Wow, what a beast of a razor. Great report and shave Bill!

That's very good news Joseph! Thoughts and prayers for a continued recovery for Bob!

PAL adjustable....very nice Terry! I had one of those cross my desk (not for me, I purchased as a give away). Neat razor. Great setup!

No fun when styptic use is required....love the image and shave compliments Jeff!
  4. Great shave and report, James! :D

I bought a bunch of the Bic Chrome Platinums 6 or 7 years ago; I didn't shave very well with them, but then again, I was still pretty new to wet shaving. I think I've got a couple lying around still--I'll have to dust one off and give it another shot now :)
  5. That's great news indeed Charlie!
  6. Thank you gentlemen!

Yeah the Bic Chrome is worth another shot. Interestingly, they are not a low price point blade. Very much mid-price at £16 per 100.
  7. they are well known for their efficiency, and unforgiveness with poor technique..nice looking razors..
  8. Excellent new Charlie! You and Kathy remain in my prayers!

  9. Awesome image and setup Clint! That brass is gorgeous, congrats!

Nice Simon! Cool when a 'heal day' still reveals a great shave.
  10. I know the feeling. I think I will drop the membership this 6 months and rejoin when I am ready to make a big purchase.
  11. Beautiful photo and fantastic report, Joseph! I've had a few soaps that gave me that slow, annoying burn as well--one of which I enjoyed the scent so much I just kind of dealt with it for a couple years, till I noticed I was reaching for it less and less. Finally came to my senses and gave it, and the matching AS, away. Hopefully the old formulations do the trick for you; I've got my fingers crossed :D
  12. fine set up and pic Joseph.when i place my midnight stag order it will be the original formula.the website states it will be continued.my gtb is original and fantastic.hope you get great results from the "new" ones..
  13. Oooooh. Aaaaaaah. Purdy Gary! Nice everything happening there!

Awesome Paul! I just can't do a one pass shave.....I wanna enjoy all the lather I (over)create!
  14. Superb image and setup Jim! Lovin' it all.
  15. the big day is coming Andrew,congrats..have a relaxing ;) weekend if you can..
  16. Thanks Clint! I think that's true. Especially when trying to mock Arko April. :D

Why not Astra April? Crap now I have to use Astra blades more this month...
  17. thank you Blair,happy friday..
  18. Great to hear from you again, Andrew! Looks like the gang has recovered from hand-foot-and-mouth. Good, good news. And fantastic news on the upcoming delivery--best wishes and prayers that all goes smoothly :)

That second photo kills me: you surround a kid with toys, and they invariably want to play with the totes and boxes :happy102:
  19. Primo
You have just inspired me for my next razor. You will be the first to try, if you want. I may want to pick your brain too.

    Tom
  20. Thanks Blair, I have a feeling this weekend will be full of last minute preparations.
