Excellent picture, Joseph! I haven't tried the Silk formula, but if there was ever am ingredient that sounds like it should be in a shave soap, it is slippery elm bark.
i have heard that as well.not done many blade comparisons as i like what i have, which is lots..i hear bic though and think of the disposable..or the pen..both worked but..one thinks cheap..
Thanks pal! One of the reasons I held off trying them is because I associate Bic with 'cheap', but they were a really pleasant surprise. There is virtually no glue dot on them either. Those bloody dots drive me mad!
Great report & setup James! Proraso Red and ToBS Sandalwood. Fantastic complimenting combo in my book! Very nice Joseph! Just goes to show that NEW isn't always better....
Beautiful set up and a gorgeous razor, Joe! Very sorry to hear about the cut on the pinky--hopefully nothing that requires medical attention. It's strange, but I have come very close to cutting my off-hand with the shavette. A few times. I seem to be most at risk when rinsing the blade or preparing to switch hands. It's getting to the point that I'm convinced that the most serious wound I'll receive with an open blade will probably be on my hand.
Thanks pal! It is indeed a wonderful combination. I'll definitely be using it again in the near future!
