slick stuff Tim..and the scent is awesome..i hear it's available now in regular tubes like the others.the cologne is pricey ,but the balm isn't badly priced .and is as good as their other balms.

Home haircuts, yes. Ditching the Clubman, however... sounds a bit drastic to me ;)

Sadly, its one of the few competitions I win on a regular basis--earns me a few eye rolls at home, but my 2 and 4 year olds think I'm hilarious.

Great news... Prayers for the health of all.

Shame the Doc is unaware that Fridays and Wednesdays are already taken and he should have planned on a Monday delivery.

    Best to you all!

    Good to know!

My one shave with the Slim, I treated it just like the Flare Tip. It was less than stellar--should have rode the cap from the get-go.

    Great pictures Andrew!

Working/Schooling from home is a major challenge. Congrats on the 3rd son. My brother's wife had a baby a couple days ago. At least his hospital was doing a great job isolating Mother/Baby from everyone else. Even the Mother/Baby staff wasn't allowed anywhere else in the hospital. They did keep him locked in the room with his wife, including feeding him.

Have fun! Stay healthy and safe!

I completely understand--especially if you have other razors that do the same job, but better.

Looking forward to seeing the Gibb :D

    The Shave...

Continuing to focus on face lathering. Seems like I am getting just enough lather to make 2 passes and have some squeezings left over for clean-up. I should be pleased as punch with that, but I like to have a good amount left over. Seems like the lather gets less dissipated when you’re working with more. If I was DE shaving, this would probably be perfect, but the shavette takes more time. Tomorrow I’ll load a bit more than feels natural to see what results I get.

The 1st pass (WTG) I did really well keeping things light and ignoring the temptation to chase, shaving only where there was still lather--good me... have a Scooby Snack!

For the 2nd pass, I noticed I was slowly increasing pressure as I started to focus on cutting hair instead of wiping away lather. Surprisingly, only one weeper as a result. It was around this time that my wife showed up with a very fussy 2 year old that was keeping her from making muffins for the family breakfast. I decided to lock him in with me and finish the pass--a dangerous move. I finished the 2nd pass without incident, and made a half-hearted attempt at touching up my chin, but wasn’t feeling in the zone anymore, and the soap was getting almost as grabby as the 2 year old--decided to abort while it was still a decent, catastrophe-free shave.

Final result: DFS/CCS with chin slightly rougher than usual, but passable. A very slight bit of irritation at the corners of my mouth and parts of my neck--a pressure issue most likely, because I was keeping the angle pretty shallow.

Have a fantastic Friday, everybody. Stay safe! :D

    32 down, 68 to go!
