    Brit. Your last 3 shaves look really top shelf. I am really curious about this Proraso wood and spice. What is it like? Anything analogous?

    Tonights razor is from England. I had a very smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. Zero issues. Just a fine shaving razor.

    Razor- Wade & Butcher "Special". Sheffield England.
    Soap- Arko
    Brush- JR#262, Ebony/Birdseye Maple. Silvertip Badger knot.
    Aftershave- Vintage Avon Spicy. Willy's Jeep decanter.

    Today, was worthy of documentation.
    I used
    Hot water wash
    Dirty Bird scuttle
    Alpha 400/ silvertip
    Proraso Blue
    M-bomb (3 drops)
    Cadet tto14
    Astra sp (2)
    Gillette cool wave aftershave
    TIME
    today I was in no hurry whatsoever. Time to wash, getting the whiskers soft, or clean (whichever school of thought you may follow). Time, to pick and choose the favored product. Time, to fill the dirty bird, and allow it to heat up. Time, to soak my silvertip. Time, to change a half inch of paste, into a loaded brush, ready for a face lather. Time, to create the perfect foamy protection, time, to dip the tips into the soak water, changing my foamy coat into glistening lather. Time, for three passes(down, up, then against). Time, to listen to the blade cut, as I recalled the Cadet's previous owner claimed it was too aggressive. Short easy strokes, listening the for the razor's edge.
    I returned the brush to scuttle, instead of my normal method of setting it on end. This resulted in warmer than usual second and third pass lathers. Proraso blue seems perfectly scented for the warmth, the m-bomb insured a cool numbness, that was just right.
    Time, to wash away any remnants and prep for the orangey alcoholy finish. Feeling the sticky- smooth results, understanding finally the secret of a great shave, Time.

    Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Natural Glycerin (20 drops) & Tea Tree Antiseptic (10)
