Thank you very much for the kind words, Gentlemen. Sorry, I realized my post made it seem as if my mom was in a health crisis herself. Her dog needed to be put down suddenly and she needed my help getting to the vet. Mom is fine, but saddened and grieving, obviously.
@wristwatchb Charlie, since watches survived the conversation ban: I came across this old Swiss Wittnauer winder when I was cleaning up a storage room in the basement. Forgot I had it, tbt. I found it on a beach about 4-5 years ago. Never did anything with it, but wound it today and it seems to keep time well. It is pretty beat up. I might throw a brown leather strap on it.
Great shave picture, Patrick! I like the light flare. No further comment. I don't know if curiosity is a good excuse for my RAD but there are razors I'm curious about. Mostly when I consistently read how aggressive a razor is I start wondering what it would be like to shave with it. Same when I hear a razor isn't efficient enough, makes me wonder if there are razors out there designed in such a way that they don't allow the blade to contact skin.
