Good point, Jeff! I always wash my face first and reapply a very light layer of shave soap to my face, then start setting things up. By the time I'm ready to start lathering, my face is usually sufficiently prepped. :D

Thanks, Terry! Most likely I'm just not getting enough soap on my face initially. It's been quite a while since I've used a shave stick the way it was intended to be used ;)

Well Bill, the report was as good as the picture.
That razor looks mighty hefty, but is very photogenic.
    Wonderful!

Another lazy day here in the ATL. A relaxing walk with Mocha and several cups of coffee almost caused me to miss my noon goal for a shower and shave. Whew, I just made the deadline. I decided to go full one barbershop today. The WSP barbershop does have the expected powdery bases but I pick up notes of musk and citrus that make it much more interesting. Three passes and touch ups just missed the baby. My nemesis, aka lower right neck, aided the escape. A splash of the rarely used Floid Blue completed the barbershop theme. I hope everyone has a great Sunday. Take care and be safe.

Beautiful photo, Jim--and great software choice.

Glad you stuck with the CG to get it dialed in. Sounds like a bit of a breakthrough with the shave angle today. Awesome! :D

    Thanks Joe!
Breakfast was a half a glass of buttermilk I cultured myself and a slice of dense rice bread, wheat does bad things to me.
Lunch is homemade soup, 1/8 pound of lean ground beef, tomatoes, carrots, peas, and just enough noodles for looks.
Some beef broth to combine all the flavors in the right proportion. Enough for 2 servings, me and the wife.

I'm gonna hate eating out at work.
    Whats a guy to do???
    well....

Great shave and picture, Clint! I have some WSP Formula T samples that I should use more often. Good soap.

I'm only four shaves in with the CG. I'm getting there slowly but surely.

    NCoxSTL AAACK!

I've read a couple of really good articles on how the lack of human activity has changed things worldwide. The earth is "vibrating" less. The lack of people moving and all of the transportation methods we use etc. has been noticeably lacking on seismographic data. You don't realize how much noise we make, even at that level, until it's gone. Take away that constant buzzing and the rest of nature probably breathes a sigh of relief. Same in the oceans as they say the lack of cruise ships in Alaska has taken the Arctic Ocean back to its normal levels of underwater noise. The whales seem to be enjoying it.

Gee, you look like a shaving pro Myles! WhenI was 17, I didn't shave as well as you. Lol! Aqua Velva is a nice scent but it doesn't stay. Proraso Green is always a staple in my den. Your blue tip looks nice. What was the synthetic brush?
