    Beautiful shaves and springtime views in Seoul, Keith. My sister and her mother-in-law made some masks for the family this weekend. She made a couple for us too. Mrs. Danger's doc wants her to wear one when she is out. I'm still not sure. Knowing my sister, she'll give me one of the "flowerdy" ones. If she does, I'll wear it for sure. I'm gonna see if she'll make me one in houndstooth. :D

    Bill, anytime you are planning to be in NYC let me know. Pasteurs Pharmacy is calling as well as those dirty dogs. For the uninitiated, dirty dogs are hot dogs served by cart venders. They keep the dogs in hot water and they don't change the water for the day. Don't worry, you won't get sick eating them, but you may get a little heartburn. I like mine with mustard and onions in red sauce. MMM! By the way, there is a 5 guys within 8 minutes from me. They are overated and expensive.

    Chili - under dog, onion, relish or a pickle spear, a little drizzle of mustard, and a huge helping of heartburn for me.

    Keep it up, Joe, and I'll have to re-visit the Maelstrom Promoters list. Remember, we voted on it. Well, I voted anyway, and it was unanimous. ;)

    Thanks gentlemen. I appreciate the kind words. Using the shavette is fun and challenging. It is definitely a skill and confidence builder.

    My favorite Italian place is a little mom and pop shop in Pensacola, Florida. It's definitely a hole in the wall. The folks that work there are sweethearts, and the food is out of this world. I'm game for trying the places you mention in Atlanta and NYC.

    Lol! President Lincoln said that a man should be proud of the place he lives. If you cut the US in third going N to S, then you have six different regions and each one considers their dishes can't be replicated to their standards. I think that's one of the many things that make our country great!

    Agreed, Joe. Just having a little fun. I'd be honored to visit you sometime and join you on a tour of your favorite NYC hangouts. Likewise, you are welcome here, my Brother. We bottle some brown juice here that some folks like. More importantly, we'll hit the ice cream joints. :)

    How is your finger healing?

    You're not that much older than me, but I may be available for adoption... It may need to be a living inheritance though... again you're not that much older than me.

    @Trigger
    Reminds me of a really great Christian man I knew years ago.
    He worked for his dad vending hot dogs at carnivals as a youngster. Became a self made millionaire in the 70's running a business known as Polock Johnny's. The guy never forgot where he came from and was benevolent to a fault. One of those guys that didn't have to 'talk the talk', because you saw him 'walk the walk' long before he opened his mouth.
    They had numerous locations, and a few franchisees that he always regretted doing. He had a farm that raised his own hogs and used a butcher in the old Lexington Market make special sausages that were his very own, not quite a polish and not really a hot dog, but really awesome.
    He died prematurely from a massive heart attack on the rscketball court. I can't remember for sure, but I may have served as one of his pall bearers when we laid him to rest.
    His daughter, who is my age still runs the business. Over time, things changed, the restaurants closed up, and they survive wholesaling sausages and
    a concoction John named 'the Works'.
    I saw their stuff in a store a couple of years ago and it brought back all kinds of memories. Unfortunately, no longer the same.

    Hopefully, that would happen one day. I have a nephew and two friends married to each other that live in Charlotte NC. If I get down in they area, I can make a detour to the Blue Grass State. I replaced the bandages again and used only one bandage today instead of two. It's close to 60 hrs since this bad cut and no infection so I guess that I can say I am ok. This was a very deep wound and this may take weeks before it is completely healed considering my age. It has scabbed up nicely so the wound is closed. Looking at the bandage, there was very little oozing. It will be fine, but I know there is going to be scarring. Hey, I am not winning any Hunk Awards. Lol! Anyway, thanks for asking. I am not going to touch a straight razor for the next couple of days as a precaution. Today was a good day. I went out this morning for breakfast and did my walking. I went out this evening and decided to get a quick burger and fries. I just sat in my car eating and enjoying the fresh air. This was the first time that I went out twice in one day since this pandemic shut down my state. I just thank God is with me, you and every one here in 30DC land. I pray for all of you that this plague will not touch you in Jesus' mighty name. Amen!
