Lol! Honestly, I don't think anything compares with Cryogen. Personally, with the exception of Proraso Green, Cryogen is the only menthol soap that I own. In my case, why would I use another uber menthol soap when I have what is considered the most uber?

 

Great shave report and photo. Trying adding some glycerin to the Dickensons witch hazel. It still won't be Thayer's but it will be better. I ordered the Thayer's online from Target and got my bottle in over the weekend.

If I am not mistaken, he has mentioned that Cryogen is the coldest.

Congrats on getting the Rex dialed in. I was on the verge of selling mine before I spent the time to get it dialed in. I have found some of the A&E scents are subtle. Maggard Razors has samples.

Joe, the only thing topping Cryogen Soap is 6 drops of M-Bomb added to my MWF. That is a mentholated shave. When you add Cryogen AS Splash followed by PAA Mentholated Mysterium Serum, it’s heavenly cold.

I have tried the SV, Oleo Shiloh and Fine Italian Citrus. I preferred the scents in depending order, Oleo, SV Asylum Colonia and Fine Italian Citrus.

Lovely cool shave, Evan. I have the same combination, but have come to prefer MWF salted with 6 drops of M-Bomb. It’s actually colder without the fumes you get from the Cryogen soap. Love that Toggle. Beautiful razor, but not the greatest Adjustable shaver for me. Glad it’s working for you!
