  1. Excellent shave and post Clint!
  2. Very nice setup Angelo, love that Avon bottle. Made me think whatever blend was in it should have been named 'Apollo' or something spacey like that.....
  3. Wonderful picture, Jim!
  4. Thank you, Blair.

Well, here it is. The moment of truth, where the rubber meets the road.
Will the lack of Slippery Elm Bark eliminate the burning sensation...

I decided to face lather so I would really massage the soap into my skin.
Once again, the GTB scent really comes to light upon lathering.
Luscious amounts of very thick 'n rich lather were produced by

    So far so good...
Started the shave with the Feather AC. Wow, it's so smooth; as if there isn't
    a blade! There wasn't. :scared003:
Loaded a new blade and made a second attempt.
Very nice. These blades are da bomb.
Up and down and all around; three passes and had a lovely shave.
Now, to the burning...I will be completely honest, as usual.
There was a minuscule amount of tingling. Far less than with the Silk Formula,
but, I can't say it was completely free of tingling. :(
I can say, however, it was nothing I can't live with and the soap is so
good, I will mos def© keep it in the rotation.
The test with the Sherlock will occur in 24 hours.
  7. Thank you Jeff!

  11. Nice shave and post Paul!
  12. Bluetiful shave and pic Gary!
  13. With a Feather Super in it it’s an incredible shaver! Love it! One of the best modern razor purchases I’ve made in the last few years. Did a comparison shave with the Vector. All I’ll say at this point is with a Feather Super loaded they’re the best head shavers I own, even better than my Shake Sharps.
  14. Thanks for asking Blair. My pinky is doing fine. There's no infection or pain and it's still attached to my hand. The wound was deep so it will be awhile before it completely heals.
  15. Nice shave and post Joseph! How's your friend Bob doing?
  16. Thank you Joe.....the good recovery saved it from getting a lower grade. Back to the fall/winter soaps/A.S. tomorrow to continue my mad dash until consistent warmth comes :).
  17. That's some Bay Rum goodness there, Terry!

  18. Awesome shave report, Chris! And even awesome-er thoughts on our current situation. I've often thought the same thing as my youngest son and I go for walks around the neighborhood, or as one of my younger daughters wants to just talk about a dream they had or something they think is funny or the kind of animal they would make if they could create animals or Skittles are better treats than jelly beans or whatever else it is that 4 and 7 year olds think is important. I get to joke around with my older children as well, and while they still spend way too much time on electronic devices, they tire of them after a while, and start doing things with each other.

Aside from having to wear masks to shop, trying to work from home, and wondering if people I care about will continue to be okay, it has been a blessing. Will I be glad when things normalize? Yes. But I'm also going to milk every good thing that could possibly come from this chaos as well ;)
  19. Very nice Evan! Our kiddos have been on Spring Break for 3 weeks now.....and from rumors of the school districts around the Dallas/Fort Worth area....we're done with in class instruction for the year. The last 9 weeks will all be online classes, only graded Pass/Fail (meaning the assignments were turned in, grade irrelevant).

That's some blue there Gary! Nice!

Nice report, fun read Tim! Keep on keeping on....
  20. Thank you, Blair and Gary!
